I admit I skip big posts at first and go back to them later. It’s not short attention span. Threads are a conversation. I go somewhere else to read long articles and essays.

I’m also guilty as shit of writing novels. Im a writer so most my posts start as books I try and edit down to make the point in the fewest possible words.

it's a cold first day of spring with 8 inches of snow in Louisville,KY. i was surprised to see something sticking out from mailbox. it was - my last of the $4.99 discountmags.com Flex magazines. the very end of Flex. April 2018 is the last issue. never gonna see a new one jutting out of the mailbox again. they are closing up shop.

no mention in magazine of it being the last issue ever, no editorial page to recount the last 35 years or give explanation to their end. Roelly Winklaar looks alright on the last cover. about 30 or perhaps a few more of current and past bodybuilders have a page here and there throughout but no bio info on them, just some made up work out to go with pics.

no KAI GREEN. no red sweats or red hoodie anywhere in the last FLEX. guess they had no room with all the other sponsored giants.
