Florida Orlando Area

Any guys here live in the Orlando / Winter Park area? Coming down that way for work for the next 9-12 months and need to find a good gym!

I am not in the winter park area but that area has essentially what most gyms in the greater Orlando area have. There's a planet fitness, LA, and an anytime. It's overloaded with CrossFit and personal training gyms. When you get here you will see why that is. If you go south of colonial into Orlando proper you will find the gym downtown. That's probably your best bet if you're willing to venture south of colonial. That's where I would go check out if it was possible. North of winter park you wont find much in the way of anything outside of LA, 24 hour, planet fitness, and anytime. All the nicer areas have 2 or 3 gyms and a whole lot of personal training studios so that's something to keep in mind.

The gym downtown is your best bet.

I grew up there, and my whole family is still in that area. I can't recommend a gym since I haven't lived there in a while.

Depending on what you're into, it's a great place to live. You'll just have to get used to the heat and humidity if you're going outside during the day.

I live in WP and go to the Casselberry Crunch Fitness. It has everything I need and is $10/mo. It gets a little crowded, but the crowd is usually pretty attractive!
