it's never about the cure, its about repeat business...
Qoute:"Vaccines trick the body so that it will no longer initialize a general inflammatory response. They thereby accomplish what the entire immune system seems to have evolved to prevent. They place the virus directly in the blood and give it access to the major immune organs and tissues without any obvious way of getting rid of it. These attenuated viruses and virus elements persist in the blood for a long time, perhaps permanently. This in turn implies a systematic weakening of the ability to mount an effective response, not only to childhood diseases but to other acute infections as well"
Many people have come to believe that the flu is an inevitable part of life and the only effective way to prevent it is through vaccinations. Statistically, you are not less likely to get the flu by taking the flu vaccine. During one flu epidemic in Vancouver, B.C. BCTV news reported that out of 32 people who were vaccinated, 30 ended up with the flu. (BCTV News Hour, 11/25/00) Nursing homes during this epidemic reported a much higher death rate than the previous year even though there was a 100% vaccination rate. The reason the flu vaccine has such a low success rate is because there is no way to know which strain of influenza will hit a country in the upcoming year. Choosing the composition of the flu vaccine is nothing more than an educated guess made by public health experts.
I totally agree!
