Many people have come to believe that the flu is an inevitable part of life and the only effective way to prevent it is through vaccinations. Statistically, you are not less likely to get the flu by taking the flu vaccine. During one flu epidemic in Vancouver, B.C. BCTV news reported that out of 32 people who were vaccinated, 30 ended up with the flu. (BCTV News Hour, 11/25/00) Nursing homes during this epidemic reported a much higher death rate than the previous year even though there was a 100% vaccination rate. The reason the flu vaccine has such a low success rate is because there is no way to know which strain of influenza will hit a country in the upcoming year. Choosing the composition of the flu vaccine is nothing more than an educated guess made by public health experts.

I am so happy to see so many enlightened people in this community. But it makes sense, we all know the lies the government told about steroids so why should we believe them about anything. This is a huge money maker for Pharma companies, but also for politicians, since they can legally use inside knowledge to buy stocks. So if they know a certain drug is going to be shipped by the billions to some country for aid, they will buy stock in it before the deal shoots it up. They all do it which is why they are all millionaires. As for me, I work in a hospital in direct contact with the sickest patients. I get blasted with germs all day every day, I have never gotten the flu shot. I just supplement with vitamin D3, don't eat processed food, eat lots of grass fed beef, organic fruits and veggies, LBA's. Every few years I might get hit with noro virus (stomach bug) which is 24 hrs of ass/face in toilet. You know, sitting on toilet with trashcan in your lap puking. But there is no defence against that, except what your body builds to deal with it. People that take all these vaccinations are just weakening their own defence system. And you are gauranteed to be a future customer of the medical industrial complex. Have a nice day.

Yeah, I get tired of the conspiracy theories too. The only flu vaccine that you might risk getting sick from is the nasal spray since it has live virus, but they tell older people and people that have chronic illness like asthma and heart disease not to get that. If nobody ever got any vaccines we would still have lots of terrible diseases like polio and smallpox. I just dont understand the paranoia. Every child that is in school is required to have important vaccines, what makes the flu shot so terrible? Cost, well it should be free for you if you have health insurance. I just got myself and the whole family their shots and didnt pay a penny. A lot of work places offer it for free to their employees. A business wants its workers healthy so they dont miss work, missed works costs many millions of dollars every year.

absolutely not. since i became health conscious several years ago i have not been sick. i used to get bronchitis every year without fail. it hasn't happened since i started taking vitamins. i can be around sick people without getting sick.

i refuse all shots and vaccinations and let my body do the job it was intended to do.

Flu Shots Contain More than 250 Times the EPA’s Safety Limit for Mercury

Thimerosal is a widely used vaccine preservative that is present in the majority of flu shots and other vaccines. Thimerosal is 49% mercury by volume, an extremely toxic chemical element that wreaks havoc on the nervous system, neurological function, and overall biological function [1]. Each dose of flu vaccine contains around 25 micrograms of thimerosal, over 250 times the Environmental Protection Agency’s safety limit of exposure.

Mercury, a neurotoxin, is especially damaging to undeveloped brains. Considering that 25 micrograms of mercury is considered unsafe by the EPA for any human under 550 pounds, the devastating health effects of mercury on a developing fetus are truly concerning.

Though thimerasol is not entirely mercury, the mercury content is still extremely high, making it very toxic to the human body. Despite highly exceeding the EPA safety standards for mercury content by over 250 times, flu shots are still recommended for children over 6 months and pregnant women.

It seems that the age groups that are urged to receive the flu shot are actually most affected by mercury exposure. Young children, pregnant women, and elderly are the ‘targeted’ demographic of flu shot manufacturers, and these individuals also happen to have the least defense against the elemental neurotoxin mercury.

Dr. Russel Blaylock, a leading neurologist, expains:

A recent study looked at the immune reaction in newborn infants up to the age of one year who had received the HepB vaccine to see if their immune reaction differed from adults getting the same vaccine. What they found was that the infant, even after age one year, did react differently. Their antibody levels were substantially higher than adults (3-fold higher) and it remained higher throughout the study.

In essence, they found that the babies responded to the vaccine by having an intense Th2 response that persisted long after it should have disappeared, a completely abnormal response.

In 2004, the The Coalition for Mercury-free Drugs petitioned the FDA to limit the use of thimerosal in vaccine citing safety concerns. In a reply made public years later, the FDA denied the request despite overwhelming evidence that mercury is harmful to the human body [2] [3] [4].

In addition to mercury, vaccines also contain other toxic fillers and preservatives that have been linked to health conditions such as cancer:

Aluminum: Also a neurotoxin, aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease [5] and other cognitive diseases [6].
Formaldehyde: Among the 8 new substances to be added to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services list of carcinogens.
Antibiotics: Various forms include neomycin, streptomycin, and gentamicin.
Triton X-100: A detergent that should not be injected into the human bloodstream.
By recommending flu shots to the public, the CDC and vaccine manufacturers are ignoring the warnings of not only major studies conducted by prominent universities, but also the EPA. The EPA’s safety limit of mercury exposure is being exceeded by over 250 times each shot. In addition to a number of other ‘recommended’ vaccines, flu shots are dished out each year to the public, meaning that this exposure increases to 250 times the limit each year. Over a 10 year period, it is possible to exceed the limit by 2500 times simply by receiving a yearly flu shot.

With these topics you always get people that have strong beliefs.The problem is they get there information from opinions of very uninformed activists.

I also find that people will state "I work in the medical field" and have a very strong conspiracy theory about medicine,research,science etc...
And when asked "what do you do"? the answer is never Doctor,nurse etc...They are always low on totem pole such as transit,some type of tech,billing,front office etc...Those people are VERY important,don't get me wrong,but why do they always have the worst and most bitter outlook?

I am not going to debate this as people are free to vaccinate or not but at least post credible studies or journals and not mickey mouse website articles or opinions without credible back up.

Another thought that I find funny is people on a site using pharmaceuticals outside the intended purpose.Injecting doses that are many many times indicated.research chemicals,peps that have NO significant human testing.Anabolics intended for farm animals and race horses.Powder from china which could contain traces of who knows what? Cause china has a great track record!!!,lol.They only beheaded their president of trade years ago due to lead in toys and poisonous dog food.Do i need to elaborate on UGL's??

But when it comes to vaccinations:you crazy!?!?! put that in my body?!?! hell no!

In chirpractic school there were people on this same crusade but against not only vaccinations but all medicines.Yet ,they used gear,took pain killers(but not for their intended use,that would be wrong) just to get high.
And surgery are you crazy,get cut open !! yet 90% of the females had an enhanced set of D cups,lol.

I have gotten one ever since i started working on an ambulance. I am surrounded by sick people year round, and it only increases during flu season.
plus i get it for free. Always take it in the arm, never the spray.
