The best person to justify the procedure is the doctor. maybe the appeal includes a letter of justification from him. If not see if he would generate a letter. His position should matter. If its really important to you, tell them you will pay up to $5000 for the difference in procedures. We can do something on the board for you that will not cost us all that much.

Isn't the implant the same thing that was done for both Nate Quarry & Tito Ortiz? Both were able to fight again after recovery...
