Why can’t you vomit after this procedure? Also, what happens if you would?

Personally I HATE throwing up! I’ll do anything and everything to avoid doing it. Even if it means I’ll feel shitty for a longer period of time. Just HATE HATE HATE the feeling of throwing up! Causes major anxiety for me to this day!

It was definitely is a chitty experience. Thankfully I didn’t get much coughing/hacking unless something was stuck or just stuck. That would absolutely suck to be dealing with that burn even more.

My understanding if the meds didn’t do their job and let things heal. In my case the gi doc was going to go bust up the area where the scarring/stricture is/was. Better half can say it a and explain it a lot better than I can. I was heavily sedated and just plain wore out when I got told I was an idiot and what had happened. But that’s also her specialty. Needless to say she was pissed.

It was crazy what a week on the meds did for me. I just kept getting better (I know lucky). I have been running hgh the last couple weeks. Again it feels like things have gotten even better. Even if I get acid reflux (and didn’t take my acid reeflux meds) now it’s so mild a single tums wipes it totally out. But I know that’s a maybe/maybe not and some wishful thinking. I’ll take it though.

Switching my proteins to mainly Cod made huge difference regarding food digestion as well.
Bbq or in the Ninja, Cod and asparagus with tartar sauce is now my main meals. Very easy to digest.

Dexilant xr type a safer type of ppi helped a lot as well. 60mg in the morning or 30mg morning and 30 mg before bed.

Do not ignore acid reflux.
