food vs wpi maltodextrin workouts

I know people always say food is better then shakes for nutrition, not sure if I agree with that, but whats better for pre and post workouts, food ,or whey isolate and maltodextrin

I would recommend high branched cyclic dextrin for intra and post. For post a product like Rich Piana's real food or another shot Highly branched cyclic dextrin.

I do a bcaas intra with hbcd.

Post I do AAKG, creatine, hbcd, glutamine, luecine. (BCAAAs would be for people w low bf in a clean bulk.) Then WP hydro and isolate 50g.
