For guys cutting back on carbs and calories. Give this stuff a try. It's heavenly. Almost reminds me of quinoa.

https://www.greengiant.com/products/detail/green-giant-riced-cauliflower-medley/

I've drastically cleaned my diet up the past 3 weeks and I've been incorporating lots of veggies in place of normal carbs such as rice potatoes and pasta. This stuff right here is very versatile and can go with any flavor or seasoning you desire to pare it with.

Oh yeah your welcome :D

Yes, I have had for quite some time now and actually love it.

It's the new social craze where fat people will try it for 2 weeks, drive the prize up and then they'll go back to fries, tots and pasta because they didn't lose weight in those two weeks.

Lol... yeah the price on cauliflower rice is retarded, Hopefully this little trend will die out and it will cheapen up. But you gotta admit it's pretty darn good

I do a CKD year-round and have half a bag of that with my breakfast and lunch. Good stuff.

Another awesome product for low / no carb - **broken link removed** - 9 calorie / all fiber noodles. I do 2 bags with dinner on weeknights.

I've been making the cauliflower rice from scratch now for a few months. Love the stuff. It's super easy to make. No need to buy it pre made

How do you make it? I've only got so much time in my day so convenience is the main reason I get the bags.

Been using this for a while. I use it as mind trick to think I am eating rice.

Great to cook with. As I get older to stay lean the carbs are getting lower and lower, and timing is much more important than even a couple years ago.

Sucks.

Skin is getting thinner and thinner though :D

So how does it taste? Is it comparable to rice...or something else.

Just wondering as I could see myself cutting the rice I eat in half and using this mixed in with it.

Taste like ass. Overpriced. Try cucumbers and stevia. Pickles, shit just add lettuce to your meals.

Seen this for awhile. I got some from Costco awhile back and it went bad quick...though it was not frozen.

Every week I almost grab some from my Friday trip Wal-Mart, but back out at the last minute, lol.

Gonna make the plunge.

How does everybody cook theirs?

Same as many, I'm limited on time, so the pre-made is a lifesaver, though it costs more:(

Microwave in bag for 5 minutes, that's all you have to do.

I took mine and microwaved then put in a non stick skillet to brown it up a little. Mixed in some shrimp and voila

I'm just gonna add this.... it taste better when your in a calorie deficit so anyone who says it taste like ass probably isn't starving or really hungry. Hell I wouldn't be crazy about it if I wasn't cutting right now

I see, thanks! I will probably do mine in the microwave, then maybe fry it some afterward as well.

I still get the ranch and buffalo cauliflower that John Meadows used every once in awhile too.

Maybe my picky ass kids will eat this too:p

Not much of a taste at all to be honest. I think its more a visual thing with me.

Exactly on the visual thing.

I used to be able to just scarf down a piece of chicken out of a plastic sandwich back or eat meat by itself out of Tupperware when I didn't wanna eat carbs but the longer I'm in this thing I want my food to be a little visual appealing and have some kind of different textures other than dry ass meat. Veggies help me with this. You can have different colors and add a little freshness to your bowls or meals

From what I've read...it takes on the flavors of the foods you cook it with.....so stir-fry would seem to be a good option.

Tried this for the first time just now at dinner. I stopped on the way home from work and picked up a couple bags on biglizard's recommendation post. I followed the fried rice recipe that was on the back of the bag almost to a "T" and it was frickin" delicious...and I HATE cauliflower!! I didn't have any fresh garlic so I used garlic salt and didn't have fresh ginger but I found some ground ginger in the pantry and used that. Everything else was exactly like the recipe. It turned out damn good and I'll be picking up more of this when I grocery shop this weekend. Thanks for the recommendation!
