forgetting to count beverage calories

im a calorie counter and just realized that even though i drink lots of water, i also drink grape and apple juice and sometimes soda, i never count calories from drinks only food, what do you guys do

I suggest you start paying attention to the amount of calories you are drinking.. You would be amazed at how many calories you could cut out of your diet, also if you cut those drink calories out you can add more whole food calories (proteins/fats specifically). Something that will actually build muscle.
 
My rule is simple, other than the occasional post workout protein drink i consume 0 liquid calories. Only thing other than water i drink is black coffee no sugar and peppermint tee

Absolutely it needs to be counted. Shit 1-2 drinks could mean the difference from cutting to maintance levels.

As others said though and I'd have to agree, I dont think grape, apple juice or soda should play any part of your diet in this life style. For me (exluding actual shakes) I drink water, coffee or milk. Ive been doing this for so long that even on a full cheat I'd prefer to have a glass of milk over a soda.
 
Grape juice and apple juice have a lot of sugar in them. If you are that adamant about counting calories, count those too.
 
hell yes they are counted !!

shit for most Americans just cutting out the sugar in their drinks would make
an effective diet!!

their is some 40+ grams of sugar in 8 oz of grape juice
 
Water, Arizona Diet green tea with honey, and Arizona Diet Peach tea with lemon. Thats all I need in my body. ZERO Calories.
 
The only beverages I drink with calories is raw milk. Other than that it's just water and tea. But those calories definitely count!
 
Soda and juice has alot of cals.Look at a serving size there not very big really.Shoot i could drink a half gallon of orange juice i like it that much.Just think how many cals that would have.
 
Green tea with stevia is a favorite of mine , same with coffee and stevia , coffee does have some calories but its such a low amount I dont worry about it.
