I am going to be purchasing this today, this is easily the most intresting piece of equipment iv'e seen the functionality of this thing is rediculous, I am not rich so iam purchasing the 360 model for 500 dollar(it was origianally 1700) At first glance it looks like a bowflex, but it absolutley is not. I can't think of one exercise you can t do on this thing and it doesnt use the silly constant tension(good in therory, bad in reality)of bow flex rods) I know it only goes up to 150 pounds, but people on a forum found a way to augment it, by replacing the cables(with more flexible higher wight rated once from lowes)
and simply placing a metal rod through the second to the bottom place and adding wights to it. seeing as these are free motion unilateral movements upping the thing to 200 pounds would be adequate for everything but deads and squats(i have free weights for that) as like is said the each cable works independently and the required stabilization make the exercise more difficult,
has anyone ever tried one of these out?
