As someone who has a natural fear of needles... I like scar tissue!

It lets you know you're in the right place ha...

Unless it's too hard to push the gear in, then you know you're smack in the middle of a nodule and the shot is going to hurt the next few days.

I had allergy shots administered for about 13 years, once in each delt per week. I can safely say without a doubt that delts are by far are the most painful spot on my body to pin (plus I feel like I have to press down on the plunger as hard as humanly possible to even move the oil) and I avoid shooting them like the plague. I attribute this to the scar tissue build up over the years.

I have had success breaking up the lumps in my quads but it takes time and it's painful. I work on them a few days per week.
