I just got home from seeing G.I. Joe with my son. Without a doubt the most non-stop action I've ever seen in a movie. We thought it was outstanding!!!

I want to see that but the best movie (atleast in my opinion) coming out is Inglorious Bastards...August 21st....I am PUMPED. Tarantino and Brad Pitt....gonna be SICK...*fingers crossed*

I have been a GI JOe fan since I was 2 years old. i have all the cartoons on DVD and still have all of the 1980's figures and vehicles. I collect the new re issue 25th anniversary toys. The movie was a huge dissapointment. It was a good action movie on its own but not as a GI JOE movie. Cobra Commander was ridiculous. The actors who played the JOEs were weak. Only Snake eyes was true to the toys. He kicked ass in the movie. Storm Shadow was OK. The baroness was well played. Zartan was just stupid in this movie. If it wasnt for Snake Eyes I dunno if this would even qualify as a JOE movie. I thought it could have been done far better but overall for an action movie it wasnt bad. I just wish hollywood would stop using so much CG. That shit ruins movies.

I am PUMPED also, another movie about evil nazis. Never seen that before. Hollywood is so original with these movies they keep putting out. They are always so historically acurate as well.

My 8 yo loved it..lots of high flying fun and action. Hot chick fights for Dad and small dose of patriotism in a far simpler world. If you really want to dissect it there's plenty of holes, but I was satisfied...watching Channing Tatum struggle under 185 lb incline press

Guys, if you want to see a great flick, go see The Hurtlocker ASAP. It is an absolutely amazing, badass movie. One of the best I've seen in a long time! GI Joe got nothing on the Hurt Locker.

Please tell me a movie or theme of movies that hasn't been overdone or screwed up regarding historical accuracy? I could care less about the Nazi theme, I just want to see the damn action I've always liked war movies...

I saw it. These movies are being made for an ADD generation. Zero plot or depth, but lots of explosions and very fast paced. I did always have a thing for 'Baroness' when I was growing up.

Dont listen to all the negative hype... people said Tformers 2 sucked also... not so much! I loved it, Snake Eyes is one BAD MUTH F****R loved the action, and constant fighting scenes. Is it diff from the cartoon.. yes, I loved that also. But its 2009 not 1984. I wasnt a fan of the Cobra Commander being a scientist also, and the Cobra face masks also not a fan! But overall, loved Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow scenes, and the fighting action. Im just glad they are bringing the cartoons I watched to life on the big screen!

Thats why I said overdone OR historically accurate...there are 100's of nazi war movies...the theme has been ran through a thousand times. My point is that there aren't really any new "themes" or "plots." Most movies now are even remakes of old movies. To say that the movie Englorious Bastards will be bad just bc it's not historically accurate doesnt make sense.

Gooey was mentionning Transformers 2... I liked this one MUCH better.

Sorry, havent seen the new GI JOE movie yet and will wait until it comes out on DVD. I can tell from trailers that it will probably have a lot of good action sequences in it, but all in all it will suck big time. Just like Transformers. Kids stuff in my opinion. Good for seeing with the entire fam and the little ones. Not for my personal satisfaction which would require lots of blood, brutaliy, a bit of actual reality, seriously hot chicks, and at least a few decent boinking scenes with full frontal coverage of stacked DDD vixens, and eh, whatever else makes a good movie..... eh, sorry, got side tracked after I wrote the word boobs................
