I just tweeked my back really fucking bad son of a fucking bitch , i can barley take a deep breath and it seems like a huge ass knot wtf is this and what can i do to help it. anybody ever have this its in the middle the left of back and aches just to breathe, I guess the drinking will have to start a bit early tonight dammit this sucks that means Ill be calling a cab around 3 in the mo gad damn sum bitch :mad:

Thanks for the reply bro and yes it fucking sucks ass but I already took 2 pain killaz and a 5th of wiskey lmfao and guess what TA DA hahaha i know i know tomorrow im going to be all fucking hunched over and hung over :p thanks tho i will hit up that chiro asap for sure tomorrow.

sounds like you pulled a back muscle near the lung. I pulled that same one you are refering to 4 times. You can hardley breath and when you bend down it hurts worse.

I had to go to a doc about it years ago and they gave me a few stretches that helped. but the best thing that seemed to help was Ibprofeun, Ice and heat and Rest. generally took me a week to 2 weeks for it to entirley heal.

this was about 5 years ago and all 4 were reoccuring in a years time. Since then I have not pulled it.

just make sure you fully recover or you may injur it worse. One day I just sneezed real hard and pulled it again. so its easy to reoccur

p.s. You just pulled a muscle man. Don't worry about it. Give it a couple of weeks rest and you'll be fine.

Seriously V, I've been through that many times, though mostly when I was younger, haven't done it in a while, knock on wood ....

Tonight, rest it, stay off your feet if possible, muscle relaxers if available.
Tomorrow like JT said, chiropractor, followed up by 1 hour deep tissue massage, followed by more bed rest and muscle relaxers if available. If not, pain meds.

Sunday some light stretching if you feel better and more massage if you can arrange it.

I do think you gave him some good advice....the swelling I had was terrible. It is going to be painful....the spasms were wicked. Sleep ....the lack of it was just shitty. I am a big fan of rest! lol....and I didn't have any. Plus, I tried to tough it out until it got better for a week....and it didn't get better.

You must admit a few drunken most musculars, followed by a fall off the bed, would be pretty funny if his gal is able to catch it all on film through gales of laughter.
 
Try alternating real HOT and real COLD showers. 60 sec hot then 60sec cold-I mean cold-alternate 10 times. Stretch out in there too. By the end you won't even notice the cold. This method is very, very, effective used daily for a week.

Yep, been there twice brother, doing heavy T-Bar rows, and in the same exact spot you describe. The first time it happened I thought I had broke something, it was bad. :)

Second time I knew what to expect. Went to a chiro for maybe two sessions and I was back in the gym in about a week but VERY LIGHT. Wasn't back to full capacity until about three weeks after that happened. No pain killers were taken, I roughed it out... :)

Although I did have to use a small pillow in my chair for comfort (this really did work well) and when sleeping the only position that didn't destroy me was lying ON my back with LEGS ELEVATED. You'll wake up in the middle of the night in pain probably from shifting unconciously but you'll be able to at least sleep.

I applied ice regularly (the second time) and that definitely brought some relief for the first two days. Then it was just attempting to walk straight for the next two weeks, and by the third week like I said, everything was normal.

Walking will be very bad for a while, you'll move like an old man....

I hope this is a wakeup call to those who think that loose form on back movements (ESPECIALLY back movements) is OK... Ronnie is the only semi-human who can get away with the sloppy reps. The rest of us mortals have to attempt to be a hell of a lot more careful with these things.

WOW I WOKEUP IN A WHOLE OTHER PARALLEL UNIVERSE OF HELL LOL

MY HEAD WAS FUCKING SPINNING IF I MOVED TO MUCH IN MY BED I WOULD BECOME DIZZY AND GAG AS ABOUT TO HURL ALL OVER MY DOG DUTCH WHO WAS SOMEHOW ALL SNUGGLED UP UNDER THE COVERS SOMEHOW? DONT ASK HAHAHA.

MY GIRL WASNT I THE BED WHEN I WOKE INFACT SHE WAS MAKING LUNCH IT WAS 12:30 LMAO.

MY STOMACH ACHED AND I TOOK 2 ALKASELTZERS AND LAYED THERE IN A DIZZY SPELL STARRING AT THE CIELING FOR 10 RO 20 MINUTES .

THEN DUCTH FARTED AND I GAGED 3 TIMES AND GARBBED THE BUCKET BUT DRY HEAVED JUST 1 TIME.

I THEN LOOKED TO MY RIGHT AND COULD BARELY MAKE OUT WHAT LOOKED LIKE MY GF, SHE SAID OOOOOH LOOK WHO DECIDED GO OUT TIL 4:30 IN THE MORNING , SHES LIKE I HOPE YOU PUKE ON YOURSELF. I CRIED OUT NOOO PLZ DONT LEAVE ME, OH LORD WHY HAS THIS HAPPNED TO ME WHY ME:p

WELL AFTER 30 MINUTES OF LAYING THERE LIKE A PIECE OF DOG SHIT I ROLLED OUTTA BED AND THEN BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM MY BACK FUCKING FELT LIKE IT GOT HIT WITH A SLEDGE HAMMER OR MAYBE AN ICEPICK, SOMEHOW LAYING THERE AND BEING HUNG OVER I FORGOT ABOUT MY BACK INJURY WELL GOOD FUCKING MORNING TO ME , COULDNT EVEN TAKE A SHIT WITHOUT WIMPERING.

ITS 3 HERE AND MY BACK PAIN STILL ACHES BUT ITS GOING AWAY AND ISNT AS BAD AS WHEN I WOKE BUT IT STILL HURTS AND IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE ESPECIALLY WHEN I TAKE A DEEP BREATH.

ANYWAYS I WANTED TO THANK U ALL FOR THE ADVICE AND COMMENTS, HOPEFULLY BY MONDAY ILL BE BETTER.

man seeing you chug that reminds me of last weekends run in with soco.. i decided to chug it down after we had polished off a bottle of grand marnier.. i woke up puking off the side of my couch and my stomach/ribs were sore for 3 days afterwards from dry heaving.. ahh man, i hate when i drink too much.. its NOT worht it anymore.. i like getting to that certain buzz and just stopping,,,, but, thats the hard part.. lol :D
