I am hoping those with experience can chime in here. One of my goals is to be a lean 230-235lbs. However, I would like to maintain sub 10% body fat levels while working on this.
Recent caliper measurements are: Chest 8mm, Abs 8mm, Thigh 8mm. I did get 6mm a few times, but the average and probably more accurate is 8mm. These measurements put me at 8.05% body fat. I am currently 224-226lbs, so this is about 207.82lbs of LBW and 18.18lbs BF. I feel I am more than likely really about 9.5% - 10% due to the definition in my legs.
I still want to get a bit leaner before I start a growing diet. Considering these measurements vs. how I look in the mirror, I figure I will have to get down around 215-218lbs. This should put me at a real sub 9% - I hope anyway.
In your experience, is it feasible to naturally go from 218lbs / 9% up to 230lbs and maintain 9% the entire time? If so, how long would something like this generally take if diet were perfect?
I have a hard time taking weight off, but can put it on very fast. I just want it to be muscle, not fat this time.
