I injured my shoulder a few months back and used it as an excuse to take a break completely from the gym. Well 3.5 months later I've lost a bunch of size and got fat as fuck. Currently sitting at 17% bf.
Anyways, I decided to go ahead and get back at it but starting a cut to get to 11 or 12 percent bf and then start gaining again.
The problem I'm having though is I've gained 5lbs in a week since starting this diet....
This is what I'm eating daily
7am Meal#1 (38/70/13/5gf)
3 eggs (2 white 1 whole)
1 cup oats w/ splenda & 20 Craisins
24g whey with 8oz almond milk
2 fish oil / multi / 2.5g carnitine / Thermo/ kre alkalin
8:00am Workout
7g bcaa pre cardio
9:00am Cardio
9:30am Meal #2 (57/52/4/1gf)
6oz chicken
1 cup rice w gravy
Asparagus
Kre alkalin
1:00pm Meal #3 (43/2/13/5f)
6oz chicken Lettuce wrap
1/2 avacodo
4:00pm Meal 4 (43/8/3/2gf)
6oz chicken
1 cup broccoli
7:00pm Meal 5 (58/20/7/2gf)
8oz 99% lean Ground turkey stuffed peppers
9:30pm Meal 6 (40/12/6)
1 Okio Greek yogurt
12g casein
12g whey
1 cup almond milk
2 fish oil
2,185 calories
279g protein
166 g carbs
45g fat
I'm 40 years old, 5'9"
I started the diet at 216lbs morning weight. I'm up to 221lbs morning weight now.
Any ideas as to why I'm putting on weight? I have came off layoff periods before and started at 4,000 calories and barely increased weight this fast. Lol
