I think this is the first time I've seen someone post a "I can't post pics because I'd be recognized" then post a pic and actually look solid.
Props XstarchildX. I think you look lean enough to cruise for sure.
Might I ask why you want to cruise instead of pushing a few more weeks? Only ask because you're on a pretty "moderate" blast.
Thank you, sir. Yeah, I'm a pretty honest and straightforward guy. If I trained like a panzy during a session, I'll admit it. If I could've done more, I'll say so. Sometimes I'm a little too hard on myself, but it helps to gain a clear perspective instead of creating my own delusions of grandeur
.
I'm going out of town to meet some family in three weeks and will be gone quite nearly a week without any of my "supps". I plan to relax a little on the diet (just not really track. No pigging out, etc) and use it as a mini deload. I figured it would be a good time to move into cruise mode, allow my body to recover a little. I could probably get away with a shorter cruise since my blast was so moderate. I guess I'll reassess right before I go out of town to see.
I've never liked the idea of T3 on any kind of bulk. Adding in a couple low intensity cardio sessions, fasting for a couple extra hours in the morning, or cutting out carbs earlier - all things I would do to curb any unwanted fat gain before it accumulates before running T3. But I digress.
I think you are at a great point because you could either go right into a lean bulk where you are at or continue cutting a little longer. Whatever you think you want to do honestly - at certain points I just get sick of semi starving myself and start back to eating when I want to
I've heard two different sides of the coin for adding t3 to a bulk. Many people swear by it. A low dose 25mcg or less, to increase protein synthesis and nutrient partitioning. I guess worst case scenario is I can experiment a little, and if I don't feel it's worth it, I can drop it completely.
I feel you on the getting sick of semi starving lol. The cool thing is it makes bulking much easier. I know towards the end of my last gaining phase I was actually getting sick of food, which has never really happened. I had to eat roughly 350/725/90-100 to keep the scale moving. After a while it gets annoying haha.
With slin it's not just how many carbs you eat but the time you eat them. I could take 10iu humlog and when it hits drinks 200g carbs and I will go hypo bad later on. I experimented a lot when I first started with carb amounts, timing etc. I would purposely not eat to see what hypo felt like at different stages so I could recognize it in the future.
Yesterday I had 15iu humalog post workout and after 15 mins started drinking a shake with 50g protein and 120g carbs over about 30 mins. I then had cottage cheese with pineapple which was about 80g carbs. That is 200g carbs and fairly spread out. I was planning to eat again but ended up having sex. I figured I should be fine but no
I was going hypo durign sex. Not sure if anyone has ever done this but it felt surreal like I had taken hard drugs. It was hard to tell just what stage of hypo I was in. I had to stop in the end and walked to the kitchen and I was bad. I know it takes time for the carbs to hit so there is no need to stuff yourself in a time like that. But anyone who has gone hypo will know you just want to eat and eat. I ate about 300g carbs in 10-15 mins
Once I started feeling better I went to bed and woke up pumped
This is true. You're much more experienced with slin than I. I did a ton of research and tried to time things as best I could, but sometimes it can be unpredictable.
Your situation was probably super scary, but it did make me laugh
. I was literally terrified I was going to go into hypoglycemic shock. It was only the 2nd time I shot slin without the fiancé around, so it was pretty terrifying. I believe I ended up taking in a little over 900g of carbs that day hahahaha.
Yeah log, or any slin hits HARD if your super sensitive. That's why I hate seeing posts like 4iu of humalin isn't going to put you in a hypo state.... it will if you've dieted hard enough!
Yes, indeed. Everyone has their own level of insulin sensitivity. Some dudes can get away with a lot more. Some can go hypo on less than 4iu. You never know!
