Games -YO FELLAS

So what are we looking like games wise fellas? Bioshock and HL2-E2 was great. I like first person shooters, and I just upgraded to a XPS 720 with an 8800 GTX SLI. Whats is good fellas? At this point anything that runs under Source runs incredible. I am almost ready to go back to Q4 to see how it runs smoothly now. Throw some shit at me fellas, whadda we have out out there. (And of course I just bought Crysis, but I cant get the 1.1 or 1.2 patches to install. Will keep you updated.BTW, I am running Vista 64 now with 16 GB ram so everything doesn't fall into that sweetspot yet.

I like rpgs and don't like to play fps unless it's with friends.

Call Of Duty 4

and just bought Frontlines:Fuel of War... which is really a pretty cool game I must say...

If you don't have COD4 though...I'd say that's your next purchase! Unreal graphics!

If you haven't played RockBand yet then your seriously missing out on some FUN! No joke. Picked up an Xbox360 just for this game and when I'm not shootin' em up I'm jamming on RockBand. Invite the friends over and its even MORE fun! We have Jam Sessions at my house with friends and its awesome!
Get someone on Guitar, Drums, on Microphone... You can even have TWO guitars...one guy on Bass and another on Regular. Hook up to your Surround sound and crank!
For Easter the family and I are all playing RockBand. Mom loves to Play Guitar, I get on Drums, and put my Sis on the Mic. Its a blast!

Rainbow Six Vegas 2!!

I love tactical shooters, more realistic ones where you can die in a few shots and same goes for the enemies

not sure if its out on PC yet, but I just picked it up for my PS3

I got sucked into World of Crackcraft in beta.. I finally broke free about 6 months ago. Very addicting.

I knew better then to get into World of Warcraft.
I love rpgs and I had a close friend get sucked into it. He was playing the damn game (trading ore for money for a new axe) while he was having a party in his house.
I'm holding off of gaming till this summer when I"m out of school.
Resource monster FPS are all the rage now.
The last FPS I played was Half Life 1

never again will I play online mmos liek world of warcraft...sucked me in for like 8months, I played it back when it was just to level 60...and then they had the battlegrounds and pvp rewards come out, man it was so hard to get to grand marshall, i did 2 characters and also did stupid guild raiding...I quit after we beat C'thun in AQ

Sold both characters one for 1200$ and one for 1600$ but man if you worked out the time invested I probally made like 10cents an hour off it lol

I've never go online and played against other people. IS this a very expensicve thing to do? Meaning set up a game server so we could tap in?

big shadow has the idea. Here at my job the I.T. guys have developed their own game server. They rigged I believe an old server and rigged it for gaming. The I.T. guys all have id's and passwords and can all go online and play the games they have preloaded their system with. They can go anywhere in the building, and type in the IP address and log into this online webiste (server) and play each other from anywhere they are at.

Have you tried Medal of Honor Airborne? If you haven't you should, I really enjoyed it, looks great with everything turned up.

Call of duty 4 rocks!

Crysis is pretty good but I am having trouble running sli in it. It almost appears that one gpu is better than 2 on this one. Still tweaking and overclocking but unsuccessful thus far.

I can't wait for Rainbow six 2 I think the release date is april 15 might be wrong.

I also bought Frontlines Fuel of War. Kind of a weak story and single player action, but if you are into multiplayer give it a shot. Massive 64 player maps, you can drive all the vehicles, helicopters, fighter jets, tanks etc.
