How do guys react to it that r allergic etc.

I honestly am beginning to realize there is a flu like reaction to it, that even when it's subtle, is still there. Think slight hangover. If you have a shot with 3cc's of pure eo I think you shouldn't be surprised to feel kinda shitty. I don't care what others say about the benign nature of it, I myself have seen it eat rubber stoppers on more than several occasions now.

Wonder why a human grade company would make something that's do based then, perhaps it's the ba or other disolvents ever think of that? Oils dont eat rubber IMO But I cold be Wong ,Ethyl oleate is a fatty acid ester formed by the condensation of oleic acid and ethanol. It is a colorless to light yellow liquid. Ethyl oleate is produced by the body during ethanol intoxication.[1]
Ethyl oleate is used as a solvent for pharmaceutical drug preparations involving lipophilic substances such as steroids.[2] It also finds use as a lubricant and a plasticizer.
Ethyl oleate is regulated as a food additive by the Food and Drug Administration under "Food Additives Permitted for Direct Addition to Food for Human Consumption", 21CFR172.515.
Ethyl oleate has been identified as a primer pheromone in honeybees.[3]
Ethyl oleate is one of the fatty acid ethyl esters (FAEE) that is formed in the body after ingestion of ethanol. There is a growing body of research literature that implicates FAEEs such as ethyl oleate as the toxic mediators of ethanol in the body (pancreas, liver, heart, and brain).[4][5][6] Among the speculations is that ethyl oleate may be the toxic mediator of alcohol in fetal alcohol syndrome.[7] The oral ingestion of ethyl oleate has been carefully studied and due to rapid degradation in the digestive tract it appears safe for oral ingestion.[8] Ethyl oleate is not currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any injectable use. However, it is used by compounding pharmacies as a vehicle for intramuscular drug delivery, in some cases to prepare the daily doses of progesterone in support of pregnancy. I feel like I have the flu for a few days, I steer clear of EO.

I like EO for Intramuscular pinning. Less pip.

But, I've noticed that when I switched to Sub Q injects with EO based gear, it doesn't dissipate before the next injection and leaves a Sub Q lump that feels like hardened fat tissue. No pain or infection, but a lump. Which is not the look I'm going for.

It could be just me, but something to consider if you're pinning Sub Q with EO.

I am not terribly convinced EO would be allergenic or toxic at all. It's not really something that is made UG and since oleic acid is something we regularly have in our diet I can be for sure that it isn't toxic orally. It's just a fatty acid? Most homebrewers that use store bought oils cotton/peanut/olive whatever contain oleate.

My guess is that it's something else being used.

Used EO in some home brews and it caused a lot of irritation.

EO is perfectly benign used as a food additive. It gets broken down in the gut.

Injecting large amounts of it however is akin to giving yourself a hangover. I've wasted enough homebrewed gear learning this lesson.

And yes it dissolves plastic. Every bottle of EO I have bought ends up making the stopper get fat and bloated after just a month or so. It is used as a plasticizer - anything that is used as a plasticizer is a powerful solvent.

I don't want to win any arguments here. If you like it, keep using it. But I myself am done with it.
