Well in the early 2000s all I ever heard was gas or roids/juice. I don’t know a lot of active pros now but back then the list was long and started at the top. Everyone in Texas and Vegas said it.

I have always denied. Never talked about it. If brought up I have always said I would rather have someone on aas and working out then on meth and robbing and stealing. Usually shuts them up.

Agreed but among fellow bodybuilders I’ll talk but no when some idiot comes up to me at the gym and wants to talk roids I usually say “how much cocaine you got and what’s the price?” Some get it others don’t. There are still quite a few people who think it’s just against the rules. It kinda makes sense you see all these pro athletes get in trouble with their league but never criminally, honestly until I had a run it decades ago I thought it was less than weed but in the states it’s equal to coke. Course now weed is legal and everyone is on trt.

Seems roids was the term i generally heard back in the 80's and 90's. But i guess i am weird as i just called them steroids or anabolics and still do. But being trendy has never ben my thing! Pretty sure i have never used the term swole in my life.
