Every time I see these photos of Jay Cutler @21 -22 I just freak out because he was able to bulid a physique like this below in 4-5 years. I remember thinking "Damn!"
Now Jay was 250 or so in these pics below. Look at him a decade later how many tons of weight has he lifted, how many days has he trained, how many hours of cardio has he done, how many meals has he eaten, and how many supplements has he used including the super ones? and look at his physique now.
With out mincing words here-while I don't think the PROS are "all drugs" I do think they are at the top of the ergogenic chain for the most part and have been "been there done that" with cycles and GH and slin-let's just say advanced users-but they aren't doing anything different than you or I for the most part when we were "kicking it" to get to the top.
So Jay will probably step on stage at 265-270 this year and does he look that much better really if you look at him? This isn't a flame I am trying to convey the gains, that he made look minimal at least with the effort combined.

Kevin Levrone was another guy with elite genetics, I grew up in MD so everyone knew who Kevin was, I was at my peak of interest in BB'ing at that time 91 on and we used to drive up to the old Powerhouse gym on the weekends from the Beach (OC) and try to catch Kevin training. Kevin had most of his size in a freakin year after he won the 1990 MD states he went from the low 200's ripped to the high 230's ripped at the 1991 Jr Nationals where he took second to Paul Demayo

and then destroyed EVERYONE at the 1991 Nationals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd5DKykp3H4

He then went on to win the 1992 NOC and almost take the Olympia in 1992.

Now that's elite genetics. Talk about a monster in the gym!!
He routinely ground out set after set after set of 600 lb benches, 600 lb deads and 700 lb squats 200 plus pound BB curls 400 lb shoulder presses etc etc etc. Just crazy to see him train.
Paul DeMayo was another one that reached his limit very quickly IMO look at this CAT at 19!!

Now do you guys think the guys with elite genetics reach pretty much close to thier mass potential quicker or am I imagining things???
And yes I do think there is a limit and people reach that and try and go past it and it goes to the -how we say-belly? Err I mean waist line.
Kevin was kinda the exception as he didn't like to bulk or stay bulked long after shows.
Here's the Jay Pics that still shock me today when he was 22.
