Well I have always said:
Offshore debit cards always fail and this one has/is.
Get everything out now or over the next few days!
If they truly get new cards, I will replace your cards free if they are free to me.
The problem I think was there was no way the accounts were going to with \stand the scrutiny of regulators. Evidently they were not satisfied and refused to allow the bank to continue the program.
I have a hard time believing that they can come up with a card that was as favorable as this one, but if they do I will let you know. In the meantime, there will not be anymore card sales.
Please post this whereever you think it maybe helpful as people only have a short period of time to get their money out.
HERES WHAT I GOT TODAY
To All card holders,
We have just received notification from the card processing bank that
our current card program is being wound down starting tomorrow.
Until noon tomorrow EST new activations and loadings are permitted.
ATM withdrawals will be honored during a run off period until early
2007. The exact date will be advised when we have it. ( I believe it is the 15th, but get it out now )
Any card balances after that period with be coordinated afterwards.
New card programs are scheduled to be up sometime next month, which will
be when all existing cards will be duly replaced.
We regret we are unable to provide more advance notice, since we are
still surprised at the short notice of this announcement, but will do
our best to assist you.
