this is a question for those who carry 15 per cent or more body fat,
training style,is it lighter with more intensity like 60 seconds between sets,
every time you work out, witch is killer but does nothing for the ego, followed by cardio,or normal heavy work outs followed by cardio, for geting riped,im thinking the lite work outs wood be better, les chnce of overtraing, but i wood like to here opinions please.

Check out THe Ultimate Diet in the Dan DuCheine thread in the Articles Forum.

I've found that to be the absolute best method for keeping (possibly even gaining) muscle while losing bodyfat.

Yuo'll do reps, but also heavy triples as part of a 10-day training and diet cycle.

Is the ultimate Diet different from UD 2.0 or is the UD 2.0 just a more recent diet plan?

Not sure what UD 2.0 is...

Ultimate diet version 2.0 ??? :D

UD2 is Lyle McDonald's diet and exercise book, but he readily admits to being inspired by Duchaine and he worked with him for a while. There are plenty of similarities. The big benefit is that Lyle is still around and will answer questions. Good luck!

Thanks for the clarification - I can't compare the two because I haven't seen Lyle McDonald's version.

I will say that the modification to a 7-day cycle made for the Body Opus book was a huge step backwards, and nowhere near as good as the original 10-day Ultimate Diet cycle. I think Dan just did this so people could eat, drink, and party on the weekends. I guess you have to decide which you want more - to look good on stage, or party while supposedly getting ready for a show.
