Hey all.
I have finally decided and made up my mind to get back into training/diet/overallwellness etc. etc.
I was just hoping if any of you guys have any, literally any advice, tips, or really anything.
I've been on pm since 14, so I would greatly appreciate any and all input.
Thanks you guys.

Id consider a 5x5 program or a 2 split. Something where you have higher frequency and can get back muscle and strength more quickly.

Diet will depend on goals

Not sure of your story/history etc, but one thing I noticed after coming back after a 4 year layoff was to work back into it slowly. When I left I was benching 500 lbs and when i came back 185 was where I started. I tried to jump up in weight fast and noticed a bunch of nagging injuries pop up. Shoulders, elbows, forearms, etc. Take your time and allow the tendons to get ready for heavier weight, especially if your getting up in age.

Good luck bro!

I'm back at it slowly, not from a injury unless training at planet fitness for two years counts. The time away from a real barbell shows. I'm doing Starting Strength and right now my bench, squat and deadlift are all within 20 lbs of each other and none of them are good.

I'm understanding why quads are first to go with pros now. At 54 I'm squatting half what I could even five years ago.
