How do I find out where to go locally to have bloodwork done? This will not be done through a doctor as I do not have insurance. Thanks.

I need to get my lithium checked every few months and the lab hasn't been sending the results back to my psych. He told me last month, no more lithium until he gets results.

I'll try once more to get them to mail me the results of the last two tests, but if not, that company on charges $50 for a lithium test. That could save my ass.

I don't get it. They take my blood, mail it to the lab. The lab told me they have my test results, but in the year 2015 they can't get the results to my doctor, who is about to cut me off of life saving meds. :banghead:

Second, medical lithium slows thyroid function and hurts kidneys. Better to go with LI-zyme form Biotics, 3 day, which is organic, and $12 for a bottle of 100.

You just need to google for one close to you. Call ahead and make sure they don't require a doctor's order. Some do some don't.

Hypothyroid runs in my family. Lithium shut that down in a few months. LOL. I'm on Synthroid for that.

Which test do I choose for overall health? Cholesterol, bun, creatinine, testosterone, etc.....

I just googled my towns name and blood test to find a place.

My town didn't have a place for privatemdlabs.

I get their general one plus the blood one. Gets all the normal values plus hematocrit for $35. A testosterone check is extra.

So, very doable without insurance.
