Getting head aches from to much Protein and or amino??

My buddy's girlfriend has be busting her ass trying to add some muscle to compete in wellness this year. Her diet has steadily increase in calories for a year but lately she gets bad head aches and her Dr said it could be from the excessive amount of protein and amino acids she is getting.
Currently she gets 200g Protein from food and one shake and 15g EAA in her Intra-Workout shake. Current weight is 128-130lbs at 5'1".

I've never heard of anyone having issues like that from high protein intake but everyone is different. Her only sups are 10mg anavar for 6 weeks then 3 weeks off. Her last labs (2 months ago) were all perfect , hormones in range blood pressure low side of normal , cholesterol below normal.
 
That IS a lot of protein for a 130lbs woman, I would usually cap that at around 160g.
I've heard of too high of protein (therefore lower everything else) equalling nutritional deficiencies, and THAT leading too headaches but I've never heard of it being from just high protein.

If the doctor is right and it is high protein related, she would see that in her kidney numbers in her bloodwork.
 
Her carbs are at about 150g and fats are about 60-70g
Carbs are from fruit , sweet potatoes and white potatoes (50G from Dextrose in shakes) fats are from free range eggs and avocado and Olive oil plus trace from chicken breast , lean beef and fish.
She also get 2-3 oz veggies with 4 meals.
Her Sodium is pretty high , meals are season to taste and veggies are season with a liberal amount of Tony's and her water intake is around a gallon a day.
Last labs had her kidneys in the normal range but she's gonna have another CMP this next week
 
If blood ammonia levels remain elevated for too long, it will affect the brain tissue, leading to headaches, insomnia, confusion, irritability.
