Getting on cycle during/straight after relationship break up

Would like to hear your experiences with getting on cycle to help get over break up with partner.

Now I know it should be about getting your mental health right first.

But some have said it will give you the structure, focus to take your mind off things and use it as fuel. Use the anger part in gym etc
Furthermore it's better then getting on the drink which then leads to worse things.

Who's done it and what was your experience.

It wasn’t a relationship ending - I got back on (for good) 2+ years ago after 2 life changing tragedies happened to me. After they happened I realized how tired and weak I was.

There were things required of me that I just wasn’t able to do at that point. Been pretty smooth sailing since. Now I have that energy and “go” in me. Before that I was declining fast and the stuff that happened to me didnt help
 
Structure, focus working out, training, eating well getting on with life can all be done without drugs of any sort.
Sounds like you are just looking for support to tell you to do what you want to do.
 
I didn't get on cycle per se (I was already on), but after my divorce and becoming effectively isolated shortly after moving to a foreign country I dove HARD into bodybuilding again.
Training, diet, everything, locked in 100%. Gave me needed structure and goals.
 
People come off? I kid, I kid.

What's the adage? Delete Facebook, join a gym. You're here so highly likely that you're already a gym member.

Any positive behavior will benefit you through struggle, regardless of the cause. One might argue that using exogenous hormones isn't a positive behavior. But if that helps you better take care of yourself, it's much better than the alternative.

Every significant life changing experience is an opportunity for introspection. Are you the man that you want to be? If not, how can you make positive steps in that direction?

I experienced being told i was getting a divorce after learning i was losing my job of 14 years, farther dying and putting my dog to sleep all in the same month.
Was still natural other the doing the Dr prescribed dose of TRT(which was androgel in those days) with zero drinks of alcohol and zero recreational drug use. I don't see where steroids and the emotional ups and downs they cause some would have helped.
Now a night here or there of getting wasted.....maybe.

I focused on me and my life getting on track and helping others while doing it.
I learned long ago the best way to get out of myself is to help someone else.
 
I've dove into bodybuilding and AAS so I wouldn't dive into depression and substance abuse, it's still sort of substance abuse but cheaper and better than using drugs and alcohol.
Now this breakup I'm diving into another woman or if I can find a few more that would be great too lol
 
I wouldn’t recommend it. Any time I have a major breakup or tragic life event, or even just going through a stressful time I will drop everything to pure TRT to be able to process emotions in a more healthy manner.
AAS will possibly make any mental hardships worse, many carry mental side effects and change how you think whether you notice it or not. Some of these effects are positive, oftentimes not. I prefer to go through hard times with a clear head.
Now locking in on the gym, diet, etc… 100% healthy
 
The gym is one of the best forms of dopamine and stress release

I don’t think hopping on cycle is necessarily a bad thing, but I’d avoid any compounds that have a potential for mental sides (and definitely do not do tren). I’d probably just stick to test/gh and “feel good” compounds

Use the gym to relieve the stress. Put on some good music, Use the pain and memories to build up adrenaline before your sets, then dump it all into your set. Then do this until you have no adrenaline left. you’ll leave the gym feeling great.

The healing process will be long though, you’ll have to do it consistently over a long period of time until you fully heal and get over her.

Like others said remove her from all forms of social media (block her), or maybe just get off social media all together. Stay active, Get enough sleep, enough sunlight, make sure your diet is good and limit processed foods, drink enough water, maybe even hit the sauna a few times a week, pick up a new hobby, and most importantly—give it time.

The worst thing you can do is turn to drinking or rec drugs to try to numb the pain. I recently just lost a cousin 2 days ago who went through a really nasty breakup and turned to drinking. Alcohol is just bad stuff and makes the problem or depression worse. You need to feel the pain fully to heal, and it’ll help you heal faster (it just sucks more and feels worse initially in the first few weeks)

it's basically mental time traveling - and once you've truly internalized it.. it changes your whole worldview


on the positive side, you don't sulk, waste time, and potentially develop very destructive habits


on the negative side, women will start to think you're a psychopath

Well I assume you are training hard/regularly....

I would suggest you dont as it sounds like you are taking the breakup hard. The last thing you need to do is fuck with your hormones -> fuck with your mindset.

I hate when something bad happens in my life, but I love training when I have something like this that really lights a fire under my ass.
