how many of you have been on aas for a long long time and still were able to get your wife/gf pregnant? The old ball and chain has been bugging me lately about having a kid. i have been 'on' for about 8 yrs straight, never high doses but continuous.

how many of you have gotten them pregnant? and how many have taken actual measures to help the process, ie hcg/clomid protocol?

500iu HCG each day for 2 weeks.

Clomid @ 50mg each day for 3-5 weeks.

If you've been on for 8 years straight I would NOT recommend discontinuing testosterone. Just use it at a low dose (IE) 100 - 150mg/wk.

If you don't conceive after 2-3 weeks on the protocol I outlined, go to the doctor and pay to get a sperm analysis done. That should reveal any underlying issues.

In the literature HCG has been used at up to 10,000 units/week for many months to recover sperm production. Assuming sperm production is shut down I suspect your protocol won't do much... it takes much longer.

HMG seems like a KEY product as well.

PATIENT(S): A married couple with primary subfertility secondary to azoospermia and male hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. The husband was a bodybuilder who admitted to have used the anabolic steroids testosterone cypionate, methandrostenolone, oxandrolone, testosterone propionate, oxymetholone, nandrolone decanoate, and methenolone enanthate. INTERVENTION(S): Twice-weekly injections of 10,000 IU of hCG (Profasi; Serono) and daily injections of 75 IU of hMG (Humegon; Organon) for 3 months. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE(S): Semen analyses, pregnancy. RESULT(S): Semen analyses returned to normal after 3 months of treatment. The couple conceived spontaneously 7 months later. CONCLUSION(S): Steroid-induced azoospermia that is persistent after cessation of steroid use can be treated successfully with hCG and hMG.

I've seen the literature by endo's, etc....

I stated what my beliefs are.

500iu of HCG each day is mimicking a LOT of LH.

I realize endos like to prescribe 1000iu shots, even more at once. But I don't subscribe to this theory.

HMG would be a great addition, b/c of it's effect on FSH, it's not cheap to use though. 75iu each day at least.

Clomid is king of the SERMS for a reason and will do the majority of the work in enhancing the OP chances of conception. Not only does clomid increase sperm levels drastically, but it can also increase testosterone by around 143% off a mere 25mg dosage. Consider that.

I suggested a short 2 - 5 week protocol to begin with b/c he might get lucky and conceive early... how would you know? also, HCG does definitely spike your testosterone levels, but also spikes your estrogen levels - so he has to be careful ESPECIALLY when playing with high doses like 500iu/ed.

I was 20 years old when I started my first cycle and I will be 47 this year. I have been taking juice cocktail since then off and on. I have 5 kids and a few of them I was juicing heavily and my kids were all healthy with no problems. Good Luck

.. it has reversed steroid induced azoospermia in two of my close friends, so they had been able to finally get their wifes pregnant.

It took between 3 and 5 months respectively to get the sperm count in an accaptable range.

Have you try IVF?

BC, IVF is VERY expensive! One of my customers went that route, somewhere in the ballpark of $15k, and it did not work. I would recommend exhausting alternate methods before going that route

This is the first thing you should do. If you want to have a child, go see a specialist and don't mess with your hormones any more than you already have. Have the doctor put you on a regimin and don't try to figure it out yourself or go based on what some guy said on a forum.

I have seen this work w/ a friend of mine... His DR prescribed him 50mg clomid a day, it did nothing. He tried this protocol & after 3mos was back in an "acceptable" range.

lots of good info in here. thank you guys. the hcg and clomid stack seem to be the most popular.

heres another question: the hcg i have is already mixed 10,000iu btls, have you seen this before? so if im to take 500ius thats 20 shots in this one little btl? id say there is MAYBE 1cc of liquid in there at most, 20 shots is gonna be like 5ius on a slin pin then right? 5ius = 500ius of HCG in this 10,000iu btl?

I would add some more h2o so its easier to gauge correct does. The HMG is inexpensive, I would really consider adding it to your regiment. IMO...

i can vouch for (5000iu HCG + 75iu HMG) x3 week
sperm was 20% of what it should be. took the above for 4 months, removed her IUD and preggo first month. cha ching!
