Trying berberine or metformin in the evening
He mentioned high blood glucose in the morning. I wasn’t commenting on lethargy. How is this going to benefit/counter lethargy in the afternoon/evening from HGH?
Compression - medical grade, not hullshit Walgreens stuff - is great. My wife’s company makes top of the line socks for this. Also meant to mention that I look like I have hippopotamus ankles now… when you pair what GH normally does with the fact that there are days that I drive up to 6 hours for work, the peripheral edema is not welcome.
how do you guys mitigate that?
Just in a couple of days of making the change to putting the full 4IU as a bolus as pre-workout application, my morning fasted glucose is down to 89. Worked like a charm!Move all to pre workout as Luki suggested and you shouldn’t have any issues. If fasted BG is still high add in some fasted cardio. I would avoid metformin if at all possible IMO.
I use this for everything… I’m micro-dosing tirzepatide for my wife’s offseason (doing the same thing for myself when I get more in-hand) and instead of just putting 1 mL of water in the vial, I’m using 4mL. The math and the needle draw are a whole lot more pleasant!Reconstitute with more bac water and it’ll be easier to dose smaller amounts of GH.
Regarding the lethargy… Again, it’s only been a few days of making the adjustment, but titrating down from 8iu to 4iu seems to be helping with that immensely! He mentioned high blood glucose in the morning. I wasn’t commenting on lethargy.

I’ll let this marinate for a few weeks and then slowly titrate back up as @luki7788 recommended.
I typically make it to the gym around 6:30 PM.What time do you exercise?
I have had success with administering before bed, then PWO after training in the afternoon in combating lethargy.
Out of curiosity, why do you choose to avoid metforminMove all to pre workout as Luki suggested and you shouldn’t have any issues. If fasted BG is still high add in some fasted cardio. I would avoid metformin if at all possible IMO.
1. It can destroy your GI for many people (not all). This makes it counterproductive in a bulk.Out of curiosity, why do you choose to avoid metformin

I don’t know if this is an attempt to humor or are you are busting my chops over semantics.
In medicine, Titrate means adjusting a dosage up or downI don’t know if this is an attempt to humor or are you are busting my chops over semantics.
I’ve been in a minimum of 5-6 doctors offices virtually every day for the past 20 years and they use that word interchangeably for going up or down when changing a dosage of medication. I’ve never once heard a doctor say “up-titrate” or “down-titrate“ they say titrate up or titrate down. Text perfect? Apparently not. Just throwing it out there.

And offseason on rest days?I am nobody but as for my guys I do not recommend using a large dose of GH bolus before sleep because I have noticed that it raises morning sugar a lot and I do not like that even if glycemia after meals is ok
for me:
OFFSEASON - GH bolus before training
PRECONTEST/CUTTING - depending on the dose 2-4 times a day smaller doses
I split am/pm 50:50 if someone use 10iu or more and when use less than 10iu then before bedAnd offseason on rest days?
fasted BG means nothing. Take it 2.5 hrs post prandial i need to see how you METABOLIZE food. Are they consistently over 100s+ if so thats the issue. You can have a good fasted and still a high a1c bc you arent releasing insulin as efficiently with food anymore. Happens with age, hgh use, pushing food, etc. Take that reading then let me know. Also i like to use the keto mojo here it tests BG and blood ketones if 2.5 hrs post meal your ketones are buried LO or .1 on the machine you arent tapping much fat anymore in the flame of the carb a very flexible metabolism will burn both. Fat burns in the flame of the carb. old bodybuilding saying. Anyways, cant go on fasted BG. id be curious to see you map this out.Been on 3iu’s of GH for close to 8 years - and always in the early AM pre-training or cardio.
Haven’t changed diet or training so I’m assuming it’s old age (shoot me) but for whatever reason, it puts me sleep by noon now. This is new to me.
Diet is clean and fasted BG is high 80’s (has been for ages).
Been wanting to up my GH but haven’t for the aforementioned reasons.
I assume using 1.5 iu’s @ twice/day yield the same results vs the once/day dose of 3iu’s.
Thanks
Interesting - I have noticed some fasted BG’s I’m over 100, even if I had 0 carbs the previous day. I’d assume it’s cortisol release in the AM. I am however always pleased with my 1hr and 2hr post carb containing meal readingsfasted BG means nothing. Take it 2.5 hrs post prandial i need to see how you METABOLIZE food.
