GH TEST RESULTS

Anyone see QSC GH test results where purity came back at 100% but just slightly off form of pharma HGH ?
This may explain differences effects experienced between generics and pharm.

"Attached are SDS-PAGE gels of the most recent lot of growth hormone that was sent to me. Purity came out to be 100% at 2 ug. Industry standard usually observes silver g stain gels at 1ug, so the purity is impressive. The only thing that concerned me was the band shows at ~20 kDa. Human growth hormone is published to be 22kDa. After researching Uniprot, there are 5 published isoforms of human growth hormone. This is most likely isoform P01241-2. This means that aa58-72 are differences from canonical. This can be missense variant consequential from experimental artifact such as PCR, cloning, or reverse transcripts errors. Regardless, I have been using the product myself for three months and it is as advertised, isoform or not, but it is not the same quality as pharma based on SDS-PAGE. For 1/10 the price I would not expect it to be either."

Hmm, never heard of a source selling the 177aa 20 kDa isoform of HGH. If they are capable of manufacturing HGH, why not just produce the normal 191aa 22 kDa isoform? This all sounds kind of weird.

Are isoforms even 'advertised' ?
All I see is selling 'GH x-tops'
If isoforms make that much of a difference then maybe labeling the product as such should become an 'industry' standard..

There are 5(I believe) different isoforms of HGH, the 22 kDa 191aa is the predominant one and then the 20 kDa isoform(176 or 177aa, forget) is next and to a much lesser extent. I honestly don't know if it has the same actions or what the specific differences are. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in here. If they aren't selling 191aa HGH, I would think it would be a no brainer to disclose that to the customers. Any chance there was something wrong with the testing procedure?
