I've been asked many times by customers how really GH effects the body ? Many also are interested to know for how long it's effective to use GH ? if one has a limited budget is good to use for several weeks ?

The GH-IGF1 is possible the most complex hormonal axis in the human body. I'll try to offer some science based yet simple answers in a nutshell.

GH has a direct and immediate metabolic effects - it releases glucose and fatty acids to the circulation, meaning it takes stored energy and make it available for the different organs and tissues, this is how it increases metabolism and burns fat both directly (taking fat stored fat and turning it to free fatty acids) and indirectly by expending calories and energy consumption. Note that releasing glucose to the circulation requires the body to secrete insulin immediately in order to balance the glucose levels and lower them back to normal, this mechanism leads with time to decreased insulin sensitivity, as when taking superpharmacological levels of GH the body needs to secrete constantly relatively high amounts of insulin. So GH increases insulin levels and decreases insulin sensitivity (which may bring to insulin resistance in extreme cases - diabetes)

GH has a direct and immediate anabolic effect in the body - it causes different tissues (above all muscle) to retain nitrogen which leads to a positive nitrogen balance = anabolism. It also causes the body to retain minerals (sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus) as part of its anabolic effect as well, which explains the quite noticeable and fast water retention many users experience with GH.

Having said and explained that many of the muscle building properties of GH are mediates by IGF1 which is considered the most anabolic hormone in the body. Even if we block somehow the IGF1 secretion which is induced by GH it'll still retain some of its anabolic and metabolic effects directly through GH receptors in different tissues, but big portion of the effect will be abolished, this is why in rare condition when short statue children don't respond well to GH treatment they're given with IGF1 (prescribed Increlex- you my refer for some info for instance to SOMEDIN (IGF1-lr3) vs INCRELEX (prescribed IGF1)). The GH causes IGF1 secretion from target organs such as the liver and kidneys, and the IGF1 travels in the serum to different tissues (endoctine effect). The GH also causes a local section of IGF1 (and other growth factors) on different tissues, mainly on muscle tissue, it's called autocrine effect, and it's responsible on the stimulation of cell division, and this explains some of the unique so desired effect of GH (and IGF1).

While the direct anabolic effects of GH are quite immediate (though not as prominent as the effects of anabolic steroids), the autocrine effects takes time and requires constant exposure to effective dosages.

GH has another important effect - it directly triggers fibroblast activity, which means recuperation and creation of connective tissue, this of course enables optimal recuperation from injury, but of course enables better strength=muscle gains with time. This phenomena takes also much time to be pronounced as connective tissue is the slowest to be build and/or recuprate.

The GH is used in the medical field as a short term anabolic aid for post trauma/surgery/severe-burns so yes short term of a couple of month certainly has its benefits, and will create some new muscle fibers to some extent, but as athletes knows GH really shines in long term usage

There are some vets and pros here with more "in field" experience even then me.
 
I've seen so many dose variables it boggles the mind lol.. I take mine 3.5 ius eod.. I got the Eod schedule from a buddy of mine who used to compete at pro level years ago and used it since.. Plus it allows me to take HGH for longer periods of time instead of the daily dosing.. Am I doing it wrong ? Who knows.. But I diffinitely know when I'm off hgh very quickly 😉

GH seems to be the one things as Lats said theirs so many different dose variables. I think the one thing that actually Made me go Hmmm was my natural GH doesn't take 2 days off, why should I. I've never have read anyones natuarly GH shutting down like tes. So I guess that does make sense.

Alternating HGH days with GH Peptide Days may be a great way to keep the pituitary functioning at a high level and not downgrading HGH receptors.
I’m currently just using 2ius HGH each morning for workout recovery and general health.

I use the MK-677 at night. After reading that long post I had to give it a go. Its defiantly a great product they have. I wish I had noticed the code. LOL.

I suppose it depends on your goals. For me currently i just want enough gh elevation to accelerate healing. I just did several months of bulking so i ran 5-10ius hgh/insulin and MK677. Now i need to get my glucose sensitivity back so i started melanotan II to increase insulin sensitivity, i dropped MK-677 and insulin. I’m only doing 2ius HGH so no insulin is necessary.
I’m looking for recovery and fat loss.
For me it would be:
M, W, F: 2ius HGH upon waking with 100mcg T4
Tu, Th, Sat: 100mcg GHRP2/100mcg cjc no dac 3x/day.
Alternate those daily.
 
Dosing depends on desired results...
Health/longevity/anti-aging effects would be replacement doses 1.5 -2iu daily
Above plus fat loss would start closer to 3iu daily
Above plus fullness, quicker recovery/healing 4-6iu

Size would be from elevated IGF and in excess of 6iu a day for most...bang for the buck GH isn't your best size drug...

Personally for mainly cost reasons... I like to stick to 2-3iu daily in the morning about 5-6 days a week, off days or when fasted ipam/cjc twice a day, and 10-12.5mg MK before bed daily. All I am seeking is lean and health effects...better sleep is a major plus too!
 
Very interesting read. I've just started running 3 iu's before bed. Noticed in the am upon waking i would get very tired shortly afterward. I am extremely grateful for this board and all the info everyone shares. Thank you.
 
I've been taking 3.33 iu's 5/2 for the last several years. I get the anti aging and slight fat burning. The well being of GH is amazing even if that's all you are running. Add in TRT and it's a game changer!
I'm 46 and feel like I'm 28+tax :)

Just make sure you get good gear.
 
There is certainly a rational behind taking GH post workout, vigorous training raises sharply GH as well as local growth factors on the torn muscles, GH will peak 2-3 hours post injection so in this case will continue the anabolic window, negates catabolism and support recuperation. Will be even more effective if combined with IGF1

I research somastims ED @ 4pm
3iu on off days 5iu on training days it's really all I can handle any more than that and my hands hurt to much at night.
So that's only 27ius per week or 108ius per month that's very affordable and effective.
I have researched every generic GH out there. Right now Karl's somastims are the best bang for my buck.
The longest GH research I have performed was 4 years with different brands during that time.
Blacktops would have to be one of the favorite's also but that is only because of the higher concentration.
Something I have noticed over the years is after about 18 months regardless of brand returns begin to diminis but that's ok then it's a good time for peptides.
GH not anabolics or sarms or peptides has a huge effect on the way my research subject looks.

I read a pubmed study that showed hgh injected locally increased IGF1 locally so I’m now injecting my HGH in my left delt which has long term nagging injuries.
