Godsmack jams

I saw Godsmack at Woodstock 99' and they flipp'n rock live. I've been to many many concerts and I'd have to say that Godsmack sounds as close to their album live as any other band that I've seen. I chose to watch them on the small stage while their lil sisters Creed took the main stage. Well, that was more or less directed roward Scott Stapp. I definately made the right choice there. Anyway I'll have to pick up the disc. Thanx for the post.:st:r-wars

It most certainly does! That and the new Korn is good, if your a rap fan aswell the new Mobb Deep, T.I., are very good pickups aswell.

Yeah man, I go to see them every time they are in Philly. Sometimes they even play Atlantic City as a small venue. They sound incredible live. I look at Sully, the lead singer weighing in at 130lbs 5'5" and wonder where the fug that voice comes from. He sounds like he should be Jethro or Gooey's size... He's also awesome at drums and guitar. Talented guy. In concerrt a second drum set rolls out from the side and sully hops on usually for "Voodoo". Awesome dueling drums. Go to see 'em if you can.

i agree with the new korn. its their best one since follow the leader that came out back in 98.

Kaiser you hit it on the head. The one thing that sticks out most from the concert was those deep crisp drum solos.

Funny you say that brother. Lots of times I'll hear bands that are "CD" bands and sound like complete shit (or at least nothing like they sound like recorded) once they're on stage. It's the PROTOOLS generation ... (System of a Down comes to mind... yikes)

But Godsmack I've always liked... actually liked them when they were a glam band too.
