Going to the Arnold for the first time

Been there atleast a dozen times. Lots of fun. Long lines and busy at first until Sunday. Everyone get a room weeks out. Have to go out of town or Airbnb. Take pics. You'll love it.

i went in 2003, went to golds saw Thorvildsen posing in the locker room. saw Ruhl up close in a lobby...retardedly huge.
had to settle for a 28$ motel room with a broken window. true story.

$28 dollars, FML. Now thats the cost of a meal at McDonalds.

the sign wasnt even lit up at night. i walked in waited about 3 mins for anyone at the desk.
then all of a sudden an Indian lady literally came/rose straight up, like from under the desk. was creepy.

they had one room, broken window, looked like a baseball or something, covered/taped up with a snickers box.

still Feb. so it was freezing. i didnt even go to the show. just 2 days of expo and walkin around. notable expo
freaks that i saw....Gunter, Ruhl, Freeman....believe it or not, Shaun Davis was dwarfing literally every one.

never ate so many free protein bars in my life. lived off them while there. good times.

It was awesome years ago we would come from Cleveland for the three days. Tons of free product that would last months. Pre workouts, bars, protein packets, etc. Sunday was best as they would give away what was left. If anything was sold it would be clearance priced. Good times. Late 2000's early 2010's.
