Good exercise for lat development

I am a bit confused. Can you please describe these in more detail? I am always down for trying new exercises, just having trouble picturing this one.
 
elevate the trap bar so the handles are @ 18 inches, and finish the lift with VERY heavy wieght.
 
u can also use a hammer curl bar to do these and if u fo the lift right u'll feel ur abs working pretty damn hard as well

I can't seem to fit through the middle of the hammer curl bar the way i can the hex bar???? Maybe i'm getting fat? :D

could always stand sideways to the bar as i doubt anyone can fit anything but their hands let alone their asses
 
i cant imagine a back workout without heavy bent rows. if you are looking for an isolation exercise for your back, this isnt it. but if you want overall back width and thickness, you gotta do these. if you do a very light weight and high reps, you will geta burn in your lats, if thats what you want.
