I'm 48 y.o. 200lbs. and doing my first cycle with test-e at the low dose of 200mg per week.
(I'm already on TRT via an anti-aging doc. 1 tube of testim, believe it or not, puts me around 1200 on TT, with good/high #s for DHT, free test. We've spent some time calibrating the arimidex to keep my estradiol below 20 -- it takes 0.5mg ED. I'm also on GHRP-6 and low dose GH for anti-aging ... my IGF is high 300s. I really like how GHRP-6 makes me feel.)
Okay, to this mix, I added the test-e, and began bloating, flushing and generally feeling crappy within a couple of days. I tried increasing the a-dex to 1mg, and it seemed to help a bit but I remained bloaty. I got a clearer response to Nolva (20mg), but still felt a little off and watery.
So, I went ahead and tried proviron 30mg instead, on top of 0.5mg a-dex. Wow! I feel so good. The bloat seems to have disappeared, my muscles feel harder, and my mood and energy improved. I'm surprised that I needed so much estrogen mgmt at such a low dose, and further surprised that proviron has worked so well for me (so far). I actually seem to feel better with 0.5mg a-dex + proviron vs. 1mg a-dex while using the test-e. (Let's hope my hair doesn't fall out.)
