got my cholesterol checked and did a liver panel.
my cholesterol was at 86 which is low (100-200 is normal) and for my liver everything was in range besides my ALKP which was at 155 which is high (38-126 is normal)
i did 4 weeks of winny a month before the test which is probably why the numbers are where they are but how bad are those numbers in general?
Sorry bros but i don't undertsand: wich type of cholesterol are you talking about? Because if it's LDL it's optimal, if it's HDL it's optimal if it's total we must know the HDL and triglycerides level. 86 It's a very low level but if he's got the tyriglyc. at 40 and the HDL at 18 (very very low, dangerous but after winny usage it's not impossible) he has an LDL level of 60 (low, range 70-180). LDL = TOTAL - HDL - 20% triclyc.
Of corse he must ask his doc and repeat the blood test but the causes of low or vey low cholest. are hypertiroidism, liver issue, strict and unbalanced diet (health issues exclused), so i think it's possible there are a contribuiting factors.
