Got my first abscess . What to expect ?

So it’s definitely an abscess and I’m sure I need to go to the doctor .

wgat type of doctor do I go to ? What can I expect ? How unpleasant will this be ?

It would not be miserable for me as I make the best of a situation and get a story out of it as well. Shit happens suck it up and deal with it.

Expect redness around the site. Itchy and hot. And puss! Tons of puss. You need a doctor to cut into it and let the puss and blood flow out. And then a full course of antibiotics.

I’ve only had one and my orthopedic surgeon friend came over to my place and stabbed the infected area over and over with an 18 gauge pin until all the nastiness was done flowing out. Lol it was pretty cool but I don’t want it to happen again. Mine was from a dirty HCG injection just left of my belly button and I didn’t get it taken care of for probably 11-12 days. So suck it up and get it fixed. It won’t go away on it’s own and can get dire.

Do you know what the cause of it was? Did you re-use needles?

Definitely go to e.r. where most likely they will drain and wick it. Do not decide to drain it yourself...bad idea. Not only does the puss have to be drained but depending on size, there are most likely puss sacs that need to be cut out. The wound then has to heal from the inside out so they then wick it which basically is stuffing the wound with gauze and cleaning daily. Without doing this a scab may form on the surface or reinfection could occur. Like I said wound has to heal from the inside out so this multiple time daily cleaning and changing wick is crucial. I m a former user of black star heroin and steroid user. The tar is some nasty shit to put into your body i.v. Needless to say I ve had more abscesses from dope AND steroids than I can count. Honestly I don’t. I’m always very hygienic. Perhaps I actually forgot to swab the area. Most likely I swabbed the area but injected outside the wiped spot.

Who’s gear were you using?

I had this happen once. Long time ago.
Used supertest 450mg satchets. Was the most painfull gear I ever used.

Had a shoulder injection form a bulb that was soft to touch. Not the usual stiffnes.

So I had my brother stab me like 20 times with the needle and drain it out.
It healed up by itself after. I never do shots there anymore
And never buy high concentrated grear.
