My professor for this semesters chemistry course has agreed to allow me and my classmates to test peptides using various methods available in or lab. members , sponsors, let's find out what is real and what isn't ! Thinking the ghrps will be the easiest to test, igf may not be as easy considering the length of its amino acid chain
Short chain peptides can easily be tested for using HPLC, longer chains like IGF and HGH go with SDS PAGE.
Unless you are just curious about how to run these tests there really is no need to do it. Short chain peptides are easy enough to synthesize and I know of no one who does this testing that has found any of them to be bunk. Old, yes.
Now IGF-1 and GH will be fun.
