Great VACUMN POSES and whatever happened to them

How about posting some of your favorite "Vacumn Poses" from the OLD SCHOOL Days of Bodybuilding and discuss why these types of poses are never seen anymore. Is this just a result of added mass or does it have to do with particular changes brought on by the type and amount of gear used by todays champs? I'll be curious as to what you guys think, and looking forward to seeing some of the classic Vacumn Poses of the past,

can't possibly mention vacuum pose without talking about Zane

as for today's bodybuilders I think Antoine Vaillant has a pretty sick vacuum

I think you can do it, or you cannot. I have had clients before stating their diet that can do it, and it freaks me out how easy it is for them. I have tried and tried, & it is just not gonna happen for me. kind of like people who can roll their belly or roll their tongue. either you have that skill or you do not. I believe the vacuum is similar. the pics in this thread kind of show this. Zane really could, where some of the guys are just sucking in. there is a difference.


I just dont think that many people can do it so that is why you dont see it. I know any client I have ever had get onstage that can, is made to do it in every pose possible to show it off:headbang:
