Greg Kovacs - Didn't even realize - Flex Wheeler

Wow I was looking through some old Flex magazines this morning and came across an article on Greg Kovacs...and then as I Google his name I found out he died of heart failure 2 years ago (how that slipped past me I don't know). That was one big mofo man.

On a side note I was looking at some old pics of Flex Wheeler. Was it ever confirmed that he had Calf implants or was it bullshit? Anyone know?

Flex probably did have calf implants. He loved Oil. There in his arms so why not calves to.

Whether he did or not doesn't really matter to me. Everyone tries to do what they think is best to gain a edge over the other competitors. Am I right?

Only he knows. I think he has some sort of implant. You can tell in his hayday he was SEO'd the eff out. His delts were nuts, esp. his rears. His calves were enormous.

His biceps now look like implants. I cant imagine that being PMMA. Its a lot and perfectly round

Not sure if implants or not.If there was a big change quickly than likely he did.
I saw two guys years ago that had implants in the calves.
Looked awesome . Could not tell they were implants. Too creep too have shit sewn in .I dont think flexs bi's back in the day were seo.Looked way to authentic. I've seen some really bad arm oil jobs and his looked nothing like
the strange shapes some came up with. I think seos done properly might help some body parts for the stage. Calves seem like they would be crippling
for seo use but hey I wouldn't know personally. Implants would probaly hurt much less for calves .No thanks but to each his own..

SEO in the calves in my opinion. Flex was still one of the greatest in my book.

When you keep Doing the same things that made you great for too long it will turn on you. Flex is a perfect example. I also think the same cycles that made guys like Jay and Phil great were the cause of their eventual deterioration and downfall (assuming philsulin keeps going the way of Palumboism)

Kovacs did not carry his size well at all. Met him during his peak, and he could barely carry a conversation without being out of breath.

Flex's calves looked terrible. Should have been penalized for those abominations. The arms and delts looked real bad toward the end too.

A pro told me he heard Flex had "silicone" in his calves. But he wouldn't know for sure of course, just rumors.

"Chris Clark" of Synthol said Flex was the only pro who was nice to him in public and acknowledged him. Big hint.

After posting this I found a YouTube clip and yes he seemed like he was winded just sitting down. The same is true for that recent video posted of Lee Priest on this forum. If you watch it closely it seem's to me like he is he get's winded if he goes on for more than 10 words. When I see this happening I think Tren to epic amounts.

This isn't true. People need to stop sayin that. I get winded when I talk full blown off season and Im not on anything. Its from being overweight and to heavy for your height body w/e.

lee priest is so short. he carrys a lot of weight. It just happens. If he was on tren hed be shredded.

Ill be on the phone or laying next to someone and they always say why are you breathing so heavy. I don't even notice

flex's calves were site injections and scar tissue... along with everything else.

his biceps always had that shape, add oil and it just accentuates it. he had/has muscle bellies that just hold oil really well. my delts hold oil really well, but not my biceps. no matter how much or for how long I try, my biceps would never hold oil like flex's... and that's true for most people.

I can appreciate what you're saying and by no means was I trying to offend anyone that can't keep a conversation due to his/her height and weight (especially those who might suffer from asthma).

I think what your saying may be true for some individuals, but as a practical matter I know guys that are too heavy for their height that have never appeared to be winded...one particular individual that is no taller than 5'9" and is a good 325lbs and can have a full blown debate on a variety of topics and is not out of breathe to say the least.
