Looking supplement company recommendations for gut health and repairing gut balance, I know glutamine is a must but curious what others have used that have actually helped again not looking for peptides or anything like that but just supplements to aid in repairing the gut. I have tried the revive gut health and it worked well, but ive also looked at like Cement factory gut and it looked really good.

@ScoobyPrep 's company NuEthix has some really nice gut formulations. I am a big fan of their Gut Defender and Biofilm Resolve. Used those for quite awhile. I also really trust Morphogen Nutrition (Nick Walker just became a co-owner there) and have for years. Their Biome and Enzymes are great. Cant go wrong with either of those two companies.

oh nice! ok ill take a look at both for sure then. appreciate it!

biocidin liquid will help normalize gut biome. Glutamine is more for repairing leaky gut, the tight junctions that become permeable. Your question to fix "gut health" is a little to broad to add much more. Fixing your diet is always going to be a part of that equation. Saying you eat healthy, the same 5 foods is not good.

I dont think its too broad, diet is on point right now but to bring along side something to help the gut be optimal is easy but just wanted to hear from some people interested in terms of their experience with different supplement companies. like TheOtherOne55 mentioned some good companies to go through, ill definitely give them a look

I understand you said no peptides, but research Oral bpc-157.
Do you think oral is the best route to take for gut issues?

I know you asked romo so he is obviously welcome to chime in but yes I think oral BPC is the best way to use it for the gut. When researching how I could use it for brain damage (how could I inject it locally?!?) I came across that using it oral to repair the gut and the gut-brain-axis would cause it to work on my brain and peripheral nerve damage.

Cloves to flush out any bad baceria (take with olive oil)

Kefir, greek yogurt, raw honey (after the good bacteria from the first 2),

collagen peptides (20g a day is recommended) and/or bone broth will have a similar effect as glutamine (as it contains glutamine so should be preferred as it has other benefits added to it)

Also IdAnimal (Doug RIP) Had tons research on high dose melatonin for stomach issues upwards of 50mgs .

I have been using this 2x a day from my sports doctor.

im on 10mg nightly and yeah I have read and heard alot of talk about high dose melatonin not only for gut but for a alot of things so I might up that dose and see what happens

Nothing has worked as well as fermented foods(probiotics), resistant starches(prebiotics), and adequate fiber intake. If I train before work in the AM I take 6-8oz of kombucha to promote stomach acid production with the amount things I use in the peri-workout window.
you took the words right out my mouth. nothing works better. kimchi, saurkraut, kombuch, sourdough have completely optimized my gut health. I used to rely on probiotic supps but listening to Chris Tuttle he pointed out while they have a high count the gut flora they produce is not as diverse as what you would get from whole foods.

Not a supplement, but apples help a lot with my IBS. I have no idea why. Other foods with fiber don't have the same affect, other fruits don't have the same affect (I actually think bananas make it worse, which sucks because I like bananas).

If you wanna waste your time, peptides do not work orally none of them not one percent so stop wasting your money and time and stop following the wrong people. They only work subcutaneously so don't waste your money on BPC 157 unless you're taking it subcutaneously, they can actually cause more harm(orally)
