Guys: leanest waist size

A question came up on another board like this and I answered honestly that I have been at 30.5" in contest shape, but get as high as 37"+ off-season. That 37 isn't over 15% bf or anything, just full and not lean

Anyway, someone on that board just couldn't believe there could be such a difference. I really wondered if they ever heard of contest dieting... I mean, the average gym rat isn't ever going to get contest lean, but just hover a few % around normal bf levels. So, it can be hard to understand I guess.

Glad to hear some honesty from others on this thread! Makes me feel a bit better (less fat...).

Smallest I've got it was 27 3/4 at 5'11 and 240, with 62" shoulders (around). And I certainly could have been leaner too.

Offseason, as much as 35-36, which as you can imagine from my lean waist size, is FAT! Potbelly and everything.

Damn, in your pics you always appear tall. I thought you were atleast 6 feet.



Me personally at my leanest which was around 8% b.f. my waist was 32" and I was completely carb depleted, too
