Gym “Uniforms”

For some reason it seems Jomas is missing a lot of the popular models and seemingly no Prospex...don’t know why.

If you go Seiko I’d strongly recommend the Seiko Turtle. it’s a great piece that’s true to Seiko DNA.

It’s ancestor, the 6105, was very popular with servicemen in the military during Vietnam. They would buy them with their own money as the issued watches broke down often.

The 6105 was made famous as it was worn by Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now by his character Captain Willard. The newest issued homage (3x the price of a turtle) is nicknamed “the Willard”.
and please feel free to continue posting these "fun facts," as I find them super interesting!

I was honestly pretty amazed with Orient. I didn't know their lustrous history, but some well respected watch guys started recommending them. You go to the website and it almost seems like a scam, great watches for what's practically no money, including sales, free this, free that. Lol I assure you they're legit and they've got a customer for life. How they get away with selling what they do at the price they do, I honestly have no idea. You get it in the mail, slap it on your wrist, and think, "wtf did I just pay for this?"

That damn Seiko Turtle, err Samurai? Great Shark Edition? Gets confusing lol The one I posted earlier

Hawk, or USMuscle or Maldorf,

Have any of you guys ever had an issue with one of your automatic watches getting magnetized (and having the watch lose time as a result)?

I've only ever had quartz watches, so was just curious? About to pull the trigger on the kamasu (the one Hawk posted in this thread).

No issues with that. I do have a demagnetizer just in case though.

This one is nice. Just a bit over $300!

Monsters are a great series, very popular with true Seiko nerds. I have about a dozen monsters and variants.
