Just some cool touches the owner is adding to the gym. They really do have damn near everything

With people taking advantage of covid and charging retarded prices for weights, I don't even wanna think about how much he spent on antique stuff

I think heard him mention close to a million in equipment hes purchased over time. I don’t know how much all the old antique stuff he has is. I know he’s invested atleast a couple decades.

Awesome, a bonified iron junkie from the sounds of it

Our owner does much the same, except it's not antique, it's just old red Nautilus, Nautilus nitro and other older stuff that he buys (in near perfect condition) that we get to use and enjoy. He must pay a pretty penny, I've looked up how much those old machines go for

Good on you, it's weird how being a member of a gym who's owner has a passion for it can make a difference in your life

That little museum is awesome, and the rest of the gym looks great as well. It's really fantastic to see a gym owner who appreciates physical culture and the history of the iron sports. Too few people appreciate the history of all these things we love to do, whether it's bodybuilding, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, professional wrestling, strongman, etc.

The guy who would really love to see this is @alfresco , if he's not still off traveling around the country. But anybody who loves the iron sports can appreciate all the hard work, dedication, and passion invested in that museum within the gym. A shrine to the love of iron!

That's awesome man

I collected vintage iron for 20+ years, and have now sold most of it. (Milo Duplex, Milo Triplex, Jackson, etc).
After some fellow collectors died and I saw what their wives got stuck with, I figured I had my fun and got rid of most.
Didnt want to put my family thru that, dealing with it all. (I had an entire room in the house dedicated to it like a mini-museum).
Also made some good money on ebay off of it. Not why I did it though. I keep some stuff around in my gym though (smaller things)...

FYI

l am in Lone Pine, CA, at the base of, looking up at Mt. Whitney right now. My wife and I have been on the road for six weeks now living in our van but will be home by Friday. Been on and off the grid but cell service is good now and I have some time, hence a few posts. When I get back home and settled in I will start posting again, like it or not.

Thanks for thinking of me Sides, you are a quality man.

I've swapped some pieces with him and I'm in Texas...Mark has probably been to every state in the continental picking up pieces for this place. Georgia is home so I can't wait to go back and hit up the gym while I'm there....I predict this place will be one of the premiere places in the country to train in before long. I think they have probably close to (or maybe more now) 50 different variants of leg presses alone....so basically one of everything.

They have the AFS Leg Press...doesn't get much better than that!
