Gyms in New Orleans

Heading to Nola next week for 5 days and I'm not trying to completely fall off the wagon while on vacation. Wondering if anyone knew of any good gyms closer to the French quarter that weren't too expensive for a week pass/day pass. Google showed there was a ton of gyms in the area, but a lot of them, especially downtown, looked a little too fancy for my liking.

Love new orleans.Been there too many times. On Canal across from the casino is a multi level shopping center with a movie theater. On the 3rd level was a small gym. It was the only decent one I could find. Not great but better then the hotel.

Check out Elmwood Fitness, they have a location in the city somewhere other than the main gym in Elmwood.

Really not much in the way of serious gyms down here.

Thanks guys. Anything will be better than the "gym" at the hotel for sure. As long as I can touch some weights and at least get a little pump going I'll feel a lot better about life when I'm back to the grind Monday. I've been to new Orleans enough times to know what kind of damage 4 nights in the quarter can do to you

Other gyms within walkING distance that I can remember bUT that one. Nothing worth a damn anyways.
