Gynecomastia - Whole Gland Removed?

Just curious who has had the entire gland removed?

This is my second procedure and dont want to have to do this again. The surgeons concern is the nipple will be indented.

But I have a few people who had the whole gland removed, it was indented AT FIRST then came back to normal?

Anyone who has had experience with this care to comment?

Never had the procedure. But constantly seeing palumbo talking about it year after year. The entire gland should be removed in a single procedure

If the surgeon performs a thorough liposuction, then the entire gland can be removed without risk of indented nipples. Going into the surgery with low body fat will make the job easier.

I had it done 10 years ago. The gyno wasn't that large. One gland was the size of a walnut. It was local anesthesia and the incisions were under the nipple. It took about an hour for the whole procedure. I was awake but groggy from sedatives he gave me. Both glands were removed. The doc placed some fat where the glands were so it wouldn't be indented. Looks normal and the scar line is super tiny. Paid 2500.00 at the time. Worth every penny.

Why are you having it done again, did they leave some originally that grew or are you just not happy with how much was removed the first time?

I had mine done in 2014 and am so glad I did. I had a subsequent ultrasound that showed no remaining gland but I can still feel a very very small amount on the left side. It looks better but isn't perfect and still occasionally annoys me when I can feel my nipples against my shirt.

have you tried the combo raloxifene + letrozole (it s hard cycle) before chir ?
i know it was effective for lots of people in few times

They left some in the first time and through poor estrogen management/bunk AI's they came back over time.

Cost me 3k but over the course of the last 4-5 years well worth the money.

The glands themselves arent too bad, just annoying/itchy... Also, I'm having them suck out my love handles while im under

That may work while the gland is in the process of growing or it swelling due to high hormones but once the gland itself has grown the only way to get rid of it is surgery.
