I tried both duta and fina, micro dosing like BB protocol, and I had sexual side effects from both of them.

Interestingly, I had my seasonal visit to my dermatologist yesterday and he was very, very impressed with my hair regrowth, said I have gotten extremely good results. We also talked about my reaction to the duta and the fina and he said the sexual side effects, in retrospect, were grossly under reported during the development and testing of those two drugs. It should’ve been more strongly expressed. But that was for treating enlarged prostate glands, which, obviously with a much higher dosage, but still, for me, it was a dealbreaker, the side effects.

It took a while for things to get back to “normal” for me.

if I'm not mistaken I believe that I have read you post that you are natty and always have been

which if that's correct makes hearing about your sides from fin and duta that much more reliable because it removes that aas variable

Never said, or posted, I was “natural”, have been completely transparent about my usage, which by what I have read here our child’s dosages, just testosterone replacement therapy, and I have recently added an equal amount of deca. Been on TRT since I was 50, I am 71 now and it has made a tremendous difference in the quality of my life, and the way I look, me being the vain glorious bastard that I am.

This has been a good thread for me. I have been loosing my hair since like 17 and am now 43. I have come to peace with going bald and never wanted to try a DHT blocker due to worries of sexual side effects. However, after reading BlackBeard’s thread I begin to reconsider. I’m pretty bald now and ponder if it’s even worth it given the life time maintenance and I already mentally have decided bald is fine for me.

Like I said, I am at peace with going bald with rare exceptions. I shave my head with a shear and occasional use a razor. I sometimes let it grow a bit to show my confidence despite being bald. I have found bald role models like my father and celebrities. I have found pretty much same success with women with hair as without. Idk. I figure once I settle down and get married it won’t matter for dating and I would be happy I don’t have ED due to meds.

So, I’m all ears and might try oral minoxidil and 2x /week dutasteride but might change my mind as well.

My opinion, you have nothing to lose by starting with the minoxidil, the other I would wait a few years to see what the results are before starting the other two. I think you might be surprised with the results you get from just the minoxidil I waited way too long, 69 years old, I had started in your age. I would have a lot more hair to show for it, but, it is what it is. I don’t stress about it. I’ll take what I can get without the sides.

I think that is a good idea. See how Minoxidil treats me first.
