Hammer Strength

Does anyone use Hammer Strength machines exclusively for chest? I think I am going to switch to them for a couple of weeks or so to give my shoulders a break.

Not 100% exclusively but at least 50% of the time.

Currently, I have two chest workouts... A and B.

"A" uses HS for presses followed by DBs for flys.

"B" uses DBs for presses followed by either cables or peck deck.

100% right now

rotate thru flat, decline, and wide. sometimes incline but I feel that more in my front delts than pecs

Not exclusively, but definitely use them.

i like HS chest press

also do weighted dips though for primary chest movement

The HS machines isloate my chest more than any other exercise I have done is 12 plus years. My favorite for chest are the wide grip press and the decline press. Cybex also has a nice flat press machine.
I will throw in a dumbell exercise every other workout or so to keep the little muscle and ligaments strong but no one has ever said I have a small chest and HS is my choice for pec sessions.

thanks fellows,i have been doing just db movements for several months now,i tried hs the other night just for a couple of sets and i like the feel of it and like i said shoulder hurting with db incline, on hs not so much.

I always use H.S. when I train chest, I'll do a set of BB inclines then use the H.S. wide chest machine and the gym I train at also has a H.S. flat bench machine where the handles work independently of each other.

I love and use all the hammer strength machines that my gym has. They isolate the targeted muscle more for me compared to free weights. I especially use the hs machines if I have a joint related injury.

Go as heavy as you want and not have to worry about a spotter, nice!

I love HAMMER STRENGTH!! The equipment they make is outstanding. I dont use it exclusively but it is a major part of my routines when I'm in a gym that has it.
