Has anyone done water fasting while on DNP?

I am not dead, supplements were MIO lemonade water, magnesium 200mg every 8 hours, a little salt in the MIO.
 
If you’re going to attempt something so risky and dangerous, please have a babysitter for yourself to drive you to the hospital if needed. :x
 
I changed my mind. Today is a lower calorie day. Tomorrow I will do a maintenance day and lift full body.

Friday will be another 375mg dnp AM and do a 40h fast. 8am Friday until noon Saturday.
Let’s see what the ketones levels do

(Not gonna die). If I get sick I have 2L lactated ringers with potassium I can hang on myself.

And since there seems to be a mental block in this thread. We ARE drinking fluids. Tastey electrolyte infused MIO cocktails
 
I just did a 36h fast on 375mg DNP. My Ketones are ~4mmol/L.

This level of ketones are usually unachievable even when I’m strict keto. This was dosing 375mg in the morning day one, not a saturated dose.

Will continue on with a PSMF and 375mg DNP, with a 10 hour eating window, just because in ballerina calories, spreading out 5 meals just is annoying.

Keep us updated. I'm curious how this turns out. PSMF is the best way to go. Id almost say you can get away just training 3x a week and do cardio 7x a week and be done in 4 weeks.

Yea my favorite split when doing these hard cuts are the DC two way EOD. Except I don’t have the gas to do a “real” quad widowmsker. Usually just one twenty rep back off set after the main work

Defintely wouldnt do any drop sets, widomakers. Realistically, you aren't growing any damn muscle here. I'd get in get out.

I've ran dinitro dnp up tp 750mgs and it does the job.

Yeah, easily. I ate muscle as well. I was in contest prep for the first time. No idea wtf i was doing then.

I ate a box of cereal at like 10pm one night and woke up 8 lbs lighter the next day. The thermo effect was crazy.

I know top level national guys that are running 250mg EOD and its not affecting them at all. Keeping the same 'prep' diet. Probably roughly around 325p, 300g carbs, 80g fat
 
People stop posting like he isn't drinking water. Everyone in this thread on dnp is drinking water throughout the day. Please read the thread properly before posting. I am on DNP myself and it's going great. I am running it for a very short time (mini-cut) so I have gone more aggressive with my cut than I usually would. DNP was dosed at 1 of our Euro caps so 200mg per day but that wasn't enough so I am now using 400mg per day. If I sleep with the window open (it's cold here) I am fine but the one night I didn't I woke up soaked in sweat. I am not that hot through the day so it's been a fairly easy run but highly effective.

My carbs are low so I look like shit (I would on or off dnp with this diet) but the fat is coming off. I will stop tomorrow then start bringing carbs up before I go on holiday/vacation on the 6th. My diet today and tomorrow has mainly been meat and houmous with some berries. Once I bring carbs up with low fat and the water falls off my body will come to life.

Dnp is a mindfuck. You look soo horrible day 4 and on. Flat, bloated as hell, weak. Then you stop and the water goes away, your like wow. Then you add some carbs and they go straight to muscle glycogen…and then the holy shit I lost 6lbs of FAT
 
I think a fast of 18-24 hours is healthy but not a good thing for bodybuilders who are still looking to be center stage, I think it’s more of a life after the game and why you would take a toxic substance during a fast which is used to rest organs and detox the body seems foolish as well as the fact that DNP will cook muscle same as fat and eating no protein while blasting your metabolism and having a chemically induced fever just wreaks of bye bye muscle I also think it woukd make you have to take less DNP since doses are so important and after 24 -36 hours you’d need to lower dose with no food in your body or risk having your blood levels rise while staying on your day 1-2 dose.
John meadows was a proponent of 24 hr fasts from what I recall and did not think it impacted muscle much

Good info but and I’m not arguing, I think fasting is good for health, minus DNP but firstly what are your ketones not on a strict diet but on a 36 hour fast? Lastly ketones are sugars made from aminos as I understand it but it doesn’t mean you’re burning more fat just that your body is making the sugars needed for your brain to run from protein and with DNP accelerated metabolism the extra ketones may simply represent the need for more sugars bc of DNP use which also increases body temp which again increases caloric load. I have no doubt that you’re burning fat I just don’t know if the combo is any more effective than a clean diet with DNP again here bc after the body is without food it will do all it can to preserve fat so the increased ketones may simply be an indicator of catabolism

Yea very healthy great for GI system and body detox but not combined with DNP. Fasting makes me feel great. DNP makes you feel like shit and John never suggested you use DNP at all let alone while not eating

Very true. Although I am extra sensitive to that loss in muscle glycogen when I simply just go to low carbs regardless of dnp. I am 6ft 2 and naturally skinny so I like to think I do well at making myself look full etc. However within days of low carbs that effect is gone and I look much smaller. On top of that the dnp and hgh both make me hold some water so as you stated flat and bloated and I look shit compared to 2 weeks ago. Definitely looking forward to filling back out. The one good thing is the synthetine and syntheselen combo (and occasional cialis) have helped my look and have also helped bring out my vascularity more so once I drop the water and fill out that will have me in a good place. Well a good place for a few days then that will be ruined again when I drink 4 nights in a row on holiday :eek::D

You’re right I mixed up gluconeogenesis with ketone bodies but I still think fasting on DNP is a slippery slope. I’m not knocking you for doing it but this is an open forum with many guys getting into this life and I worry about repping stuff like DNP and insulin.

Well your not totally off, gluconeogensis also is going while in ketosis, as some cells HAVE to run on glucose. But also, glucose can be derived from the glycerol backbone when the fatty acids are cleaved off the chain.

And I’m not doing this as a normal thing, I just got a wild hair in my ass to show that you won’t die from an extend fast and low dose dnp.

Not recommending this. I’d recommend a PSMF with lots of dark greens and fluids, and EFAs.

And @Elvia1023, a non dnp fast , I’m around 1.8-2.0 ketones, so about half.

But man, the ketosis mind clarity was legit full force at 36h. I felt great. Now….hours 12-16 I felt like I was gonna die until I finally hit adequate ketones and finally flipped over.

Also, you get quite an catacholamine dump at around 16-18h…..the body saying, hey bro…go find food. It’s hard to sleep the first night.
 
Oh, and I felt really wesk in the gym the next day, obviously…..a massive deficit. But I didn’t die. And the heat was non existent as I took in zero energy substrate
