This shit hurts!!! Nothing you can do about it either, except take pain pills, which I cannot stand. No sleep for me either!

I'm not sure if it's from coughing due to my bronchitis or from doing heavy leg presses and letting my knees smash into my chest. :D
 
I fell Mountainbiking and fractured mine in April. You're right, there is nothing you can do but manage the pain.
 
Busted one surfing a couple years ago. Everything you do hurts, and not a damn thing except time makes it better. SUCKS!
 
Broke them plenty of times. The last time was when Simone and I crashed one of my Harleys. Yup, I know what I am in for when I do break one. The pain in the ass is a couple of weeks later when it just starts to mend, then you take a deep breath while sleeping :eek: WTF, feels like someone stabbed you.

It happend to me doing leg pressses and it last for 3 months :mad:
 
Broke my right collar bone playing football. 3weeks of intense pain from sneezing ,coughing, laughing. Not something I want to do again.
Get better Tone , just take it easy for a couple of weeks
 
Broke at least three

That used to be my punch of choice to deactivate guys who wanted to fight, and leave no obvious facial marks. In my younger days, of course.

Rest for 15 days and then start slow
 
6-8 weeks normally. I shattered four of my ribs in a bike accident - landed on a metal gaurd rail. One of the splinters punctured my lung. Spent two weeks in the hospital.

You should have a follow-up x-ray in 4-6 weeks to see how things are progressing.

Unfortunately, not to many exercises that won't aggravate a broken rib. For you guys who have had them, remember sneezing? OMG... almost passed out a few times...

I had that same problem from leg press , it takes a few weeks then its gone just hang in there and ease up on the pain killers.
 
Well this sucks..15 days off....I'm going to go back in there as soon as I'm over the bronchitis and do cardio I guess. :confused:
 
I broke ribs on two different ocassions riding motocross (crashing). It will be sore on & off for months.
