My ongoing shoulder issue as detailed here :

After 8 weeks physical therapy :
Weeks 1 -2 twice weekly
Weeks 3-5 three times weekly
Weeks 6-8 once a week. I cut back because honestly the pain was greater from doing it 3x weekly than it was prior to starting. I think I was overdoing it. It was a constant ache.

Today he suggested I look into a Coolief procedure. https://www.mycoolief.com/#
I did a search on here and can't find anything. I was hoping maybe someone knew something. It is apparently expensive. $3K to $4K. I will see if my insurance covers it. I made an appointment for August 5th. For a "trial" type procedure. Basically (from my understanding with the receptionist on the phone who made the appointment), I will come in and do some light tests and mobility motions to determine the range. Then a small test area for it.
While it appears (on paper) that I may have some pain relief, I am pretty sure it isn't going to do anything for my range of motion due to the fact it is caused by severe arthritis.
Thank you to everyone who replies.

Honestly I'm not really sure but three to four thousand where I come from is relatively inexpensive

I'll take a look at your thread and see what your shoulder problem is since it is an included in this one

Yeah I took a look at it yeah sorry to hear that unfortunately it looks as though he should have done the surgeries years ago I had mine done years ago and let me tell you not a single problem don't mind was only one surgery

Did you look in the stem cells

Yes, $3-4 is inexpensive in comparison to some surgeries, however the Coolief site says that "multiple treatments may be necessary". It is $3-4 for EACH ONE.

The only surgery at this point is a total shoulder replacement due to the amount of arthritis I have in the joint.

How much of the glenoid do you have left.

Decent amount, however it is surrounded by arthritis which is the cause of my shortened range of motion.
Sounds like you could get a partial replacement then to me. Mine was mostly gone but they were still able to ream it enough avoid a total replacement. Course not all Dr's do it.
